To bring this thread back from the dead...I already posted that I want a durable softshell for abraisionful activities where I don't have to carry the thing in a pack for hours to get to the climb. One thing I'm worried about: how windproof is Powershield, Scholler WB 400, etc? I would go with something like the Patagucci Dimension, but I want to be able to layer under a rain jacket when it starts raining.
Danger
increasing significantly Saturday and becoming high to extreme
above 3 to 4000 feet and high below late Saturday into early
Sunday.
BE CAREFUL EVERYONE!!!!!!!
I ski Diamond Peak easily, so it isn't a climb. I wouldn't call South or Middle Sisters climbs either. Washington, Jack, and Jefferson are climbs though. I prefer the Crux over the rock on the volcanoes any day though.
It goes like this: do one physics problem, spray for 10 minutes. Do another problem, spray another 10 min. Actually, I'm looking forward to having a job, look at John, he goes climbing EVERY weekend for a month and a half straight.
I'm just wondering, how many calories are burned during a session bouldering at the gym? I figure since it's anaerobic, it probably takes less energy than aerobic exercise.
