  1. Mars needs 'em.
  2. Finally, the three G's Way to get to the kernal
  3. We should hold our sacrifices a little more sacred is what I am thinking. A cow doesn't think it is winning when it get the zap. It would serve us to rethink what "return on investment" means and how it looks.
  4. Yeah, I don't think that we'll see it in our lifetime, but we can help it along it's way. I think the corporations and global capital will go along way to unifying the world. I just hope the model gets more positive and life oriented.
  5. I'll definitely take the sunshine and rock part about now! This weather is getting to be a drag
  6. Scott, I hope you're not right but that is a strong possibility. Certainly seems to be the the current picture.
  7. I wish you would invite me over some Trask, sounds like fun. Scott, I am not naive. It won't be easy and probably not in our life time. We are pretty divided as a people. There will be a lot of pain and suffering to come. My cousin spent a lot of time and money helping out kids in the inner city and was shot and killed when some grown up ones felt he had something they wanted. It has completely fucked my family up.
  8. It sucks being scared of outsiders. I finally put my bullets in storage. But I live on an Island, and I can see them coming.
  9. exactly CBS! It will be interesting to see what happens to Paul Oneil.
  10. Happiness is a warm gun, eh Trask.
  11. I feel the same way Muffy. I trust the local political process and my community because I have access to the people and see how they live, and I interact with them. I trust them even tho I might completely disagree with them, because I know them.
  12. Exactly Tinkerbell. Kind of dovetails on what CBS was saying and Scrambler was referring to. The social contract of this country has outgrown this country and we need to let it evolve and quit hoarding it. It will change into something different to be sure but the fruit is rotting on the vine. Seems kind of selfish to keep it all to our self and finger printing all "outsiders" who wish to come visit. Kind of goes against the spirit of the thing.
  13. I agree Scrambler. A unifying concept will be hard to come by and even harder to wrap our heads around.
  14. Doctorb you bring up a good point; this is the underlying impulse of nationalism.
  15. Yeah, were are all related unless you come from another planet but even then there would be some close links
  16. Riffraff.? Oh you mean the poor, uneducated people that make less money than me...?
  17. Why, 'fraid to lose your myth?
  18. I hope this picture is going to be in good taste Trask
  19. yeah, you can get past yeah 8611 for a fraction of the price and used even cheaper. I think one of our sponsors has such a deal I would like to try out a hinged ski. novel idea.
  20. No, I hold no allegiance to some governing body full of people I do not know. Give me one good reason...
  21. Tele or rando, I'd go with the K2 8611 due to the heavy pack you mentioned and the fact that conditions will be variable as you ski down a tall mountain. I think the Voile surf is great in pppppow (going down) but would be a bit soft for spanning crevasses and such.
  22. "Partriotism" is the anachronistic rallying cry of nationalism. GET OVER IT. This is one planet and we are all family. If we don't start owning our reality, we are going to end up eating each others children
  23. Reinstate the man already
  24. always stirring the pot, eh Ehmmic
  25. That reminds me, I have to drop the kids off at school...
