I wonder how much the Wedgewood boulder weighs? If everyone on cc.com pitched in ten bucks we could buy it and haul it to the nearest park for all to use. Or for $100 bucks we could buy the house and convert it to a party pad for barbecues and pub clubs. 3,000 x $100 = $300,000. Would that be enough? We could rent the bedrooms to dirtbag climbers to defray expenses.

As I recall, they were not able to reattach the end of the finger. Does anyone know the reason why? They managed to reattach John Bobbit's schlong, didn't they? Looks like it was a clean cut. If something like that ever happens to you, get the severed limb onto ice as quickly as possible (I'm referring to a finger, not...).

We didn't watch any slides but the fire was entertaining and To-the-Top's Dan - stories were fun to listen to. The funniest thing that happened was when a bunch of teenagers toting six packs decided to crash the party. Beck chased them out saying something to the effect that if "you won't share your beers with the old men, you can't stay here". They went off in a huff.

Dream on Alex. I've got a good one. Go do Slide Mountain near Rainier. It is an easy scramble with great views. Take Hwy 410 to just before the park entrance and just after Camp Shepard. Hike the Buck Creek Trail to the drainage and scramble up to the tarn where you can camp. You can scramble Slide Mountain the second day and go out.
