  1. I know what the answer is going to be and so do you hemp. I remember Joseph saying he's only ever placed one bolt on a FA.
  2. I'm not familiar with those routes. Are they also on the Apron?

Just because Dwayner has long time friends and you don't you want to ridicule him? Is that what it is? Hmmm? I think he's made some very funny posts in the past few months. He's a master of the photo-essay. And he's shown remarkable restraint although I can tell he's been sorely tempted.
  4. You got me, there. No I wouldn't. There's the real part and there is the mental part and I probably couldn't handle that. The scariest lead I've done is The Kone, which isn't really very run out, especially compared to what it was formerly, so I am told. The longest run out I've done is Pigdogs on Parade, but the climbing was easy.
  5. If the chance of falling is high and the consequence of the fall is serious, I'll back off. The runout could be 10 ft or 100 ft, but what counts is whether you will hit something.

So Rudy, are you saying it just dawned on you?
  7. You were addressing Cluck, Chuck. Get your birds straight.
  8. In Washington you must pick a party if you want your vote to count. You cannot vote for a Republican in one race and a Democrat in another. If you don't pick a party you can still vote for unaffiliated candidates or in non-partisan races.
  9. Think again.
  10. The answer is emphatically, yes. I think most FA's want people to climb their lines.
  11. Thermals? Thermals? Thermals? Thermals?
  12. provided you're serious, this remark is all anyone needs to prove your ignorance. do you even know why? learn to climb dirt or move to "the lost world of suckiness". Actually this is good advice. It is possible to become confortable with dirt and mank. It's all a state of mind.
  13. These new places exist but people aren't talking about them. Certain people are too critical about the style in which some new routes are put up. The creators put too much work into them to want to listen to the bullshit criticism, so they only tell their friends.
  14. Whatever are you talking about?
  15. Wapass, Beacon: Long-ass drive Castle rock, Careno: short routes Index: not many moderate routes Static: too run out, because of the Bolt-Nazis Darrington: shhhhhhhh
  16. I think he means long, moderate, multipitch routes within a short distance of the road. He is right if that's what he means.
  17. Sharp eye there, Steve.
  18. Having a moderator dislike you is not enough to get banned. I should know. You have to violate written rules or the unwritten rules. The unwritten rules come under the heading, "likely to cause offense". There are lots of offensive posts, but you have to go over the invisible line to get banned.
  19. It says "Please resubmit your search".
  20. The entire point of the torture bill is to deny due process.
  21. I don't generally swear, but underworld, you are fucking clueless!

    I'm right

You're just used to getting your way around the minx household.
  23. If you actually notice the weight difference between eight tied slings over your shoulder and eight skinny slings over your shoulder, you're way more sensitive than I am, that's for sure. Not that I'm noted for my sensitivity. It's a pity this is the Newbie Forum and not Spray.
  24. Water will NOT deactive urushiol. It is a very stable compound. It is very oily and hydrophobic. You need a soap or detergent to emulsify it and wash it away. Detergent will not harm your nylon.
