B4, dropping into the buttcheek tightening, ball shrinking, 250'-300' partially overhanging rap. Front view: After, the end of day Sig Sauer .45 cal Earnest Langdon limited edition making holes in paper and folks trying to rehydrate cause someone forgot to bring water. Someone else:-) Lil Dawg all tuckered out, @20 holes later, still retaining 2 out of 3 lights. 2/3 battery remaining!). Obligatory for Dwyanus and Pope. My camera had low battery condition, I was lucky to get these.

Working so you can play. Adam Winslow and Ujahn Davisson (on the right dressed as Al Jolson in blackface) Ujahn on Beeline, wide shot. This will be the first route inside what you can see in the picture frame. I count @10-20 potential lines there. Close up- I have a 10-1 zoom lens and this is all the way in, I'm about a 1/4+ mile away. Let that dirt flow bubba! Currently about 30' of solid 1-1/2" wide handcrack has been discovered and unearthed. (hey Dawg , we're rap cleaning. it's part of the human condition, get over yourself)

______________________________________________________________________ Plot thickens. Who called it? Link to UK Telegraph artical "Dutch withdraw spy from Iran because of 'impending US attack' The Dutch intelligence service has pulled an agent out of an "ultra-secret operation" spying on Iran's military industry because spymasters in Netherlands believe a United States air attack was imminent. By Bruno Waterfield in Brussels Last Updated: 9:24AM BST 01 Sep 2008 According to reports in the newspaper De Telegraaf, the country's intelligence service, the AIVD, has stopped an espionage operation aimed at infiltration and sabotage of the weapons industry in Iran. "The operation, described as extremely successful, was halted recently in connection with plans for an impending US air attack on Iran," said the report. "Targets would also be bombed which were connected with the Dutch espionage action." "Well placed" sources told the paper that a top agent had been recalled recently "because the US was thought to be making a decision within weeks to attack Iran with unmanned aircraft". "Information from the AIVD operation has in recent years been shared with the American CIA secret service." Brig Gen Seyyed Massoud Jazayeri, deputy chief of the Iranian armed forces, warned at the weekend that military attacks against Iran would trigger a Third World War. "The exorbitant demands of the US leaders and the global Zionism which have created the current situation in Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and Caucasus are gradually directing the world to the edge of the cliff," he said. The US has refused to rule out a military attack against Iran if its government continues to enrich uranium as part of its civilian nuclear programme, which the West suspects has the clandestine objective of developing atomic weapons. Iran has warned it would close the strategic Strait of Hormuz, the entrance to the Gulf and a major oil shipping route, if it is attacked. On Friday, the Israel newspaper Ma'ariv reported that Israel has stepped up preparations for a contingency plan to attack Iran, should diplomatic efforts, via the United Nations, fail to derail Tehran's suspected nuclear weapons programme." _______________________________________________________________ There is a slight chance, perhaps less than 10%, this is only public propaganda designed to push Iran into compliance and abandonment of their Nuclear program...slight, very slight. The question I would raise is: "Why would the Dutch, if they really had such a successful surveillance program" break it off, fold up their tent and then announce it (wide span, multi-country broadcast) so publicly, it to the world? In doing so, they would most likely lose what they had worked so hard to have gained. It also pre-announces to the enemy our intentions. Why do that? Questions with layers of more questions and shadows underneath those questions.

Talk about the uber high road: "I have said before and I will repeat again: People's families are off limits," Obama said. "And people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as a governor or her potential performance as a vice president. So I would strongly urge people to back off these kinds of stories. You know my mother had me when she was 18 and how a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn’t be a topic of our politics." -Barak Obama __________________________________________________________ Wow. I like it. My mouth is open. Can't find myself personally backing off just yet, but that's me. Wow. Thats f*ing refreshing after 8 years of Karl Rove (and James Carvelle) attacks on everything that isn't lined up directly behind you.

Is this the start of the predicted 80 year global cooling? I call for a global cooling initiative.

Should have been out yesterday then. Saturday I shivered most of the day, I later decided that part of it was fear, and part was the cold. Snow level 5500 feet yesterday. I was at 3200 Sat. it was windy and semi damp.

You must have gotten hit hard by some of the short spots of heavy rain that swept through the gorge starting at 1pm or so? Good on ya for keeping with it! You must be building up some serious karma points or something.

Well done! I think it more likely that climbers need to guard against the let down and suicidal feelings which may occur after we come off an amazing climb and get back to the humdrum boring job. Lots of climbers have done themselves in over the years.

Scott: is that the b4 of this one? This would have been played up if Obamas pick had been different:
-
Well, the vps tend to get screwed. They usually (with a few exceptions) sit around and do very little once elected. So their main function and prime importance is to replace the President in the case that they die or are incapacitated. Now Obama, he's a strong young man. (Talking statistics here). If some jackass doesn't try and off him (I'm praying this never happens to any elected official), will live for many many years. Ask any actuary. True. Now McCain, the opposite is true. He's much closer to the legal limit where his lights will naturally turn off for ever. So as far as we, the voters are concerned, we can almost give Obama a pass on the VP pick, yet MUST take McCains very very seriously: as that person will much more likely become the president. When I glance at the picks, I know that Biden would be an excellent President. I can get into the why, however, it's very obvious he has the credentials and anyone who's paid attention knows this and has known it for years. Palin, on the other hand, does not. In fact, the only time I've heard of her was when she was charged with the fairly recent scandle of getting the relative tossed off the state police force. So to me, Obama has shown much better judgment in this arena than McCain. Perhaps I will learn about Palin and change my opinion. My question is this: is she ready to step in and become the president? Harry Truman was widely thought to be a small time operator and political hack, yet in many minds was a very good President. So I don't know. It does seem like poor judgment on McCains part to pick her. That was the best he could do? There is NO one more qualified than her Can anyone lay that down? Can anyone here explain why she was a good pick for the country.

Well I'M TRYING...., it can be a little hard to hear my wife of 28 years grab a patch of arm and after shaking around and examining it critically exclaim "What happened here? It's all soft, what happened to the Billy I married? " This morning she was saying "Honey, you're all wrinkly!" I told her it was just age and was starting to get into the full description of such when she interrupted to my relief and added: "I'm only talkin' about your shirt being all wrinkly."

Last year was off the hook fun! Isn't this the "Second annual" comp John? Good on PRG to let it fly again, I know Gary only gets Karma Points for having everyone drytool the shit out of his holds. Ahh, but what points!

BTW, I thought that the way Obama handled himself in the primary was inspiring. He could have done negative attacks all day long to good effect but he said he wasn't going to do it, and he didn't go there. Far as that goes, I thought his response to the recent Swiftboat style attack (the Weatherman issue) was awesome and inspiring as well. I wish Kerry had spit it back in Bush's face like that. It's one thing to have a real issue (Bill Clinton's dalliances and Arkansas state trooper issues for instance) that get brought out, it's another to pull Willie Horton out of the playbook.

You agree with this one below too? Anyhow, I missed FW dissing that kind of verbage but I'm staying out of it. Seems to me that we all want whats best for our loved ones and our country, and that the disagreements folks tend to have, tend to be on how best to achieve that very thing. Which means we are all deserving of better from each other than letting the conversations slide so fast into name calling. I suspect if they were sitting around a campfire, this could be worked out fairly fast. I'd better just get out of spray.

Bob, I keep seeing some of these folks calling you a douchebag, so I don't think that you don't need to try and reinforce that image!

Joke: * A humorous anecdote or remark intended to provoke laughter * Something not said seriously, or not actually meant; something done in sport. ______________________________________________________ Anything else you need just ask. Now, how about a Hottie Muslim WOMAN for McCains cabinet, like Condolisa???? (Kevin, refer to upper statement for reference:-)

That's a pretty fuc*ed up thing to say Bob: rude as hell and a DAMN lie. FW has been consistent on his attitudes, he will not vote for a LIBERAL of any color, gender, race or creed. So he won't be voting for Hillary anytime soon either, but not because she wears a dress.
-
Let us refer to it as the speech of 32 thank yews. That is how many times I counted "Thank You" or Thank You very much" at the start of it. Man, global warming has hit Denver hard last few days. Lot of hot air. Next up, turning the land of 10,000 lakes in the land of 10,000 hot tubs.

and a pivotal moment in history. Can't deny that...but McCain will win the election. Don't think that's happening. I'm thinking that I'll be putting money, real money, on Obama. Don't necessarily think that's a good thing, but would like to make a buck on it anyway. Anyone who knows me can contact me for details if you want to bet on McCain. BTW, still collecting on my Hillary will lose bets.

Giuliani - 1 05% Hutchison - 2 10% Lieberman - 0 0% Pawlenty - 2 10% Romney - 9 45% Other - 6 30% I feel like a minority here. No one but one other person thinks the Minnisota dude is in there? Wuz his name, Huberto Humphreryo?

Don't know about that, but the same can be said of Rush Limbaugh. I saw him on the Oprah show, and he was NOT erudite OR intelligent sounding. I was left wondering how he can come off so smart on his show...yet fall flat like that when he steps off.
