  1. Bontrager Race Lite 700c wheels, 20 spoke, bladed spokes in straight laced, paired fashion, cartridge bearings (nice.) Takes a Shimano 9/10 speed cassette. No miles on them (maybe 10 miles.) If you're looking for a race wheel set, they're pretty sweet. $225 take's em. This link will take you to the same search page I found. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=na...rager+race+lite email me at ttsuboi AT oz DOT net or call me at 206-459-9398 if you're interested.
  2. I just upgraded bikes and want to hand off my Bianchi to someone who can use a good bike. She’s old but has class. '81 Bianchi Super, originally measured non metric at 21’ (roughly 53cm,) lugged steel frame. Specialized Sealed Bearing II 36H hubs, 105 non-STI break set, funky retro Shimano 600 effects. Six speed freewheel 13/23, 175cm Ultegra crank, 53/39 front chain rings. She’s a good commuter and will get the nod from old school mechanics. No pedals. She’d sell on Craigs List for about $200, but I’ll take a reasonable offer from someone in this crowd for less. Also for sale, Bontrager 700c 20 spoke wheelset. No miles on them, just too light duty for the abuse of commuting.
  3. Kick Ass, Erden! Eat the squid.
  4. So suck... sorry to hear this.
  5. Sorry, can someobdy more this to the Yard Sale? Thanks
  6. I'm looking for a second hand 54cm road bike. Ideally it'll be less than 5 years old, a retired criterium stead, 105/Ultegra/Durace drive train/brakes. I'm not looking for a H.O.S. (I already have one.) The new bikes I've been shopping have been around $1500-$2000. I'll spend up to $1000 on a second hand bike of the same grade. Jon, any of your cycle buddies looking to unload one of their bikes in my size??
  7. Father, forgive me for I have sinned. It's been three weeks since I last went to church.
  8. loose some weight
  9. FYI: It used to be 50% off the .83 marked price. Note Change: The discount is now included in that price. See the fine print, "Final prices shown—no further markdowns taken at checkout."
  10. I have an old Stubai ice axe (70 cm) you can have.
  11. Best advice yet
  12. This time of year, those are a good choice... as long as they fit. They're not insulated, so if you hit it when it's cold and nasty, your toesies won't be so warm, but otherwise, they're what I'd wear.
  13. He must be one of them crack climbers
  14. There's probably a burn ban underway. There is in most of the state this time of year.

  16. My main worry was getting to the first bolts above the belays. They're pretty run out. I guess that's part of the spice. Whatever the case, the gear is old, and I'd hate to test those old button heads with a factor 2 fall. The routes are good shit, though. I'd definately go back. I'd be happy to help carry tools and bang away to replace some of the hardware.

    Max Roach

I saw Max Roach many years back. He as old then, but still commanded. He's one of the greatest jazz drummers and set the pace for those who followed. We'll miss him.
