I think you would have to do the north ridge of stuart, and the north faces of buckner and shuskan but the rest could go by the easiest way. That would be one burly ass weak your feet would never be the same.

No way, that chimney is classic. In sort of akward grunt kinda way. I thought the 1st pitch of rodgers corner was shitty, all dirty and the rock qualtiy not exactly good either.

You're lucky they weren't euros, or they might have done worse than that. In the Bugaboos and in Chamonix, I've had eurodogs pull down on my belay rope while I was leading! Thats when your belay takes out his ice axe and tells them to back the fuck up.

Sitkum is uniquely long and boring! It puts even other slogs to shame. I can think of worse the coleman-demming comes to mind. I even hate descending it.

ever think of check wta.org? Its a popular hiking trail so go check there. Unless your going to ski why do you care its a slog either way but worth it.

Werd definitly worth it. I will climb it again. I would like to check out the direct variation but the traverse pitch is so much fun you almost don't want to miss it. On the way down as we pass some hiker he made some statement about climbing the bowling alley . But all in all the rock is good on the west face except from the start up to the end of the first pitch in nelsons guide.

The description for breakfast of champions in sky valley rock says the rating assumes you don't step on the tree. I try not to pull on trees and such when i'm rock climbing. However i do it when scrambling so does that mean i've french free 3rd class . I also find that i make a lot of tree moves when winter climbing at low quality pass. I think i have even climbed up and traverse around a tree once.

I haven't looked at the weather forecast yet but if thats the case you could go and take your chances, leave friday night it stays light till 9:30 these days and go up it saturday, do it in a day if your in good shape, or go do something on the east side of the mountains.
