Distel, I'd like to reiterate what others have said. Disregard the negativity. Most of the people who diss boulderig on this website are Alpine-choss masters who think that the North Cascades encompass the entire universe of climbing (even when the far superior and more impressive Coast Range lies just to the north). After living in a place where cragging and bouldering are the accepted NORM (UTAH!) and other forms of climbing (mountaineering, alpine rock, water-ice) are either unavailable, or considered less worthy, I've come to the conclusion that most of the people who live in the Northwest are in the national minority when it comes to their preferences. Bouldering is the future of rock-climbing (along with free ascents of scary aid lines). Whether or not the bitches around here are willing to accept it. And none of them are progressing the sport anyway (and I'm not claiming that I am).

I really didn't want to do this, but I figured it might work out well. I'm out of my place and staying with a friend right now. I'm having trouble finding housing because I do not know if I will be in Seattle past December (which makes me a bit sad). Right now I'm finishing up my Master's Degree at the University of Washington, and I have one more quarter to finish. So I'm looking for a place from now until the end of the year. I'm thinking in the 400-500 dollar range, but I'm willing to pay more for a nice place. Hopefully someone has a room open in their house that they would be willing to offer up for rent (in Seattle only please). There is a possibility that I could stay longer, but that depends on my employment situation after graduating. I'm clean, considerate, outgoing and fun. I spend most weekends out of town climbing or skiing, and I often work late, so I'm not a couch potato who will be around watching TV all the time. Please PM me if you'd like to talk about this, if you want to spray on this post (I'm sure it's irresistable to some) please keep it as ridiculous as possible) Erik

As AlpineK and I pointed out in another thread, an attempt to troll by making yourself look repugnant (as Beck has clearly done) is not a likely method of trolling. The "trolling" defense is a thinly veiled defense mechanism. The name that Beck orginally posted was not Stacey McKnight. He is revising history because I called him on his blatantly irresponsible attempt to appear "connected" (an obvious goal of his on many occasions, even if you are gullible enough to believe his inflated ego is all a troll). Continue to pat Beck on the back for his pathological behavior all you like, most of us are not fooled.
