Thanks off white. The winamp plug in sucks, if you try to convert multiple songs at a time it lumps them all into one big track, and it crops the end of the song for some reason. I already uninstalled. I just downloaded the db software, but if I can burn MP3 directly to audio using NERO that's all I need. I want to make audio CD's out of a huge pile of MP3's I got from a friend.

Anyone have experience with this? I'm downloading winamp right now because I heard there's a plugin that will do the job. Is there I way to do it in NERO (my burning software)? Is there better freeware than the winamp diskwriter plugin? Off white you know about this stuff, any experience with Nero?

I'd just like to say that people who don't spray with proper spelling are really showing their lack of intelligence. Spraying is one of the most important past-times we can participate in during our virile years, in order to attract a mate. Without spray, we would not be able to communicate to all the young-lady lurkers how virile, attractive, and well-hung we all are (not to mention I fuck like a beast). Poor spelling is akin to limp-dick in the mate selection ritual known as spray.

I'd just like to say that ski crampons are environmentally unsound. The reason I skin is to tread as lightly as possible in the mountain environment. I want to caress the snow, leaving as little trace of my passing as possible. Cramponing is a destructive, brutal technique, that penetrates and and irritates the delicate sensibilities of glacial ice, and sun-hardened snow. I do not condone ski-crampons in the backcountry. Anyone who uses them is raping the alpine envirnment in a fashion akin to bolting at crags. If you can't travel in the mountains without inserting your metal tentacles, I say STAY AT HOME.

Thanks for the link, Pete. That was a good read. What do you think about the "culture war". I see an America that has become increasingly accepting and tolerant, and yet many prominent political figures claim a culture war is being waged between liberals and conservatives.

A good friend of mine (and a 5.12 trad-climber), says that you can't get better very quickly if you don't sport climb. He sees the progress he makes by sport climbing, and he's climbing hard enough grades to prove that it works, IMO. In contrast, I rarely sport climb, and improve by maybe a letter grade every 2 years .

Rush Limbaugh has been off the air since last Friday. (In rehab, ya know.) Could you explain how you were able to hear him on Tuesday? I've never heard anyone refer to Tim Russert as a conservative. I guess Tim was "moderating" the show then and was sticking to the conservative line...
