  1. Nice! The undercling on milk run is hard, even when dry! Was Freeway still super wet? Thanks- Ty
  2. Nice work! I was looking at TDA when I was climbing the prow, nice looking line!
  3. shhhhuuure you would!!!!!
  4. Nice try, you should give it another chance when its a little drier because it is a beautiful route that can be done C2C with an early start. BTW its "Swift Creek" not the "Nooksack River" that had the snow bridges. You drove over the Nooksack that on MBHwy just past the DOT.
  5. Sounds like chronic inflammation. I hope that you are icing every chance you can get. I would hold off on the cortisone shot until you give the ice a chance to break the inflammation cycle. If the knee sprain is all healed up take large doses of IBP for a week or so, if not let the knee heal first. IBP will slow the healing process down a bit by reducing the # of fibroblasts to the injury. Also look out for other gait compensations that may be settling in from the sprained knee. This can also contribute to ITB syndrome as well. Good luck. Heres to a speedy recovery! PS running is really bad for your knee's and ITB, FWIW
  6. Go back to bed dude. Check out the weather cams, it rained all around there
  7. Toxic shock is another good 5.9. Not too many of those there and the ones that are there some of the 5.10's feel easier. Got to love that place!
  8. Sure the 5 would have been nice but it was of no real use on route. I placed it behind this flake/chock stone that if called upon to catch a fall would have almost certainly blown out of the crack, but your right it was better than nothing. Nice TR Sol- thanks for the good times! sickie
  9. But he's dead I dont know if it qualifies.
  10. FRANK ZAPPA!!!
  11. There is no OW on Rebel Yell.
  12. I like the Atomic Sugar daddy, they are a bit fat 124/99/115, but handle really well on all sorts of snow pack, I use them for skiing at Baker so fat really works well. They are also light as hell. If not these, the Gotamas will rock your world too! Pretty much anything that you buy are going to be an improvement on the skis you have now.
  13. Really nice pics! I am headed down to the creek over spring break and we got some towers on the list too. I will try to post when I get back.
  14. Good work CBS! Thats the way to work those rests!
  15. I checked out your site, pretty cool. I love the paseyten wilderness. There is so much good rock out there and solitude. Its the Toulome medows of WA. Nice to hear someone else found Salathe downright scary in places too.
  16. Hell Yes! Nice effort!
  17. Could be bursitis but my guess is that it is also spasmed psoas. It is most likely a combo of the two but unless you get psoas to settle down you re not going to get anywhere with trying to stretch the IT band and TFL. First off dont sit with your legs crossed. This only contributes to the shortening of psoas and IT band/TFL as well as stressing the sacroiliac jt. Also, try not to sit for too long of periods w/o getting up to stretch these shortened mm. Unless you have killer health ins I would forgo getting a diagnosis from a general prac. Dr. If you have to pay cash, get in to see a good physical therapist who will be better educated to properly muscle test, diagnose bursitis, jt dysfunction ect. Most MD's will want to give a cortizone shot, although sometimes effective, i would use caution. Personally I think that they are over perscribed. In my practice I have seen many peoples symptoms blow up from cortizone injections. Otherwise with good health insurance you will have to jump through the hoops of getting referals from your PCP to get into a PT. Feel free to PM me if you have anymore ?'s.Just my 2 cents, good luck. Tyree Johnson, LMP
  18. You could really benifit from a good massage. Go to someone who knows what they are doing. Sounds like you have set your muscles into a bit of a spasm, a good LMP can help reset the propioceptors to get these hip flexors to relax. The tennis ball thing can feel good but it is no substitute for a good neuromuscular therapist. Also look into active isolated streching. This is just streching that involves contracting opposing muscle groups. The principle behind this is that mm groups are set up in opposing sets. For one set to fire the other (opposite) one has to relax. Again a good LMP can show these to you. Good luck, Tyree
  19. Hell Yes! That looks very nice. Good work guys. Darin, its good to see your still gettin the goods.
