  1. I have no idea what you're talking about. adblock plus

    Dogs at crags?

I always feel better when I flash something, but dogging is not without entertainment value, like practicing you dance steps move by move.
  3. Keenan? We're messing with you. I'll keep you in the loop as things dry up, any day now.
  4. Hey now boys, don't make me call Lancegranite in to mediate...
  5. Well, uh, yes, I think so. It must have been something about the "soft grading" and thinking things were 5.8 that did it...
  6. v0=5.10 v1=5.10+ v2=5.11 v3=5.11+ v4=5.12- v5=5.12a/b v6=5.12b/c v7=5.12c/d v8=5.13 v9=5.13a/b v10=5.13b/c v11=5.13c/d v12=5.14a/b v13=5.14b/c v14=5.14c/d v15=5.15 So, what do you think? 5.10b is V0, V0+ maybe. 5.9 is VB.
  7. Project Bandaloop goes burlesque...
  8. Its not crap, just don't assume every cobble is like a bolted on gym hold. I do wish it would dry up enough for the quarry to dry out though...
  9. I've only been in on foot, so easy pass/fisher creek/douglas glacier valley was the way I went. Rat, what's the route from Easy Pass to Silent Lakes?
  10. Yeah, what the hell ever happened to all that border security we had under Bush? (or Clinton, or Bush, or Reagan, or Carter, blah blah blah). I thought the workings of the invisible hand defied trivial constructs like national borders?

    wow

Thanks for that Hugh. I think D-dog is perhaps the strangest thing to ever brush up against this site, topping even the fraudlent speed climber. That encyclopedia dramatica entry G-spotter posted a link to (careful folks, there's stuff there that you can't unsee ever) misses the whole basejumping end of things, another community he burned through in a most controversial manner. His presence here was extraordinarily normal compared to the rest of his internet life. I never believed that Gerbil stuff in the past, but this bit really makes me wonder. yeeesh. In an unrelated note, I brought three sheep home today. baa
  12. I believe its a personal offer from Hugh to pay the fee to sign up our own furiously flapping right wing as Sierra Club members. Who exactly are the cc.com teabaggers?
  13. Yeah, Bishop's a great family destination. The Happy Boulders also have a really fine collection of easy boulder problems for those whose kids aren't some kinda freakin' prodigy, or for weaksauce old farts too.
  14. Short order cooks don't pay a lot of taxes, though I suppose they do pay proportionally more in a state that runs on Sales Tax rather than an Income Tax. I shudder to think what a government run by people paid greasy spoon wages and benefits looks like.
  15. Aww Kev, write your own material, don't just copy Lancegranite's homework.
  16. Careful there cupcake, you're not a young man anymore. If you boil too much blood you're gonna blow a gasket. Thanks for the inside scoop Jared.
  17. That's a great vid Dave.
  18. That's funny FW, when it comes to ants I'd always visualized you as the guy with the magnifying glass...
  19. Photos of the Klenkenator are aid.
  20. All that bit about Leeper hangers, well, let's just contemplate this old portrait of Peter Puget as Jonathan Swift and cogitate a little bit...
  21. How about a tag team wrestling match between Leavenworth & Portland? Der vs. Duh, the match of the decade!
  22. This thread only exists to mollify Lost Cam Kenny and make him feel that there is fairness in the world.
  23. As a bonus, the dark rusty Leepers are much easier for aging eyes to spot way out there on slab climbs. Up on the Glacier Point Apron for instance, dull stainless hangers 40' away just disappear into the background dazzle. Now a Leeper, that stands out. Pity that even Ed Leeper wouldn't install a Leeper hanger these days.
