I've come to appreciate the Rockcentrics, but I almost always have the three smallest wired Chouinard hexes on my rack too. Nothing says "relax" like a well slotted hex. If your hexes (whatever the brand) walk, you must be doing something wrong.

There's also the Gert whoever's album cover. I didn't mention Mr Simmons on purpose, though that still didn't prevent a visitation. I'm pretty sure there's at least a dozen images in the catalog. I dunno Porter, the stock images don't have shock value anymore, but they are a BBS version of comfort food, like psychic macaroni & cheese for those who want to revisit familiar territory. They're a visual representation of attitude, often a non verbal shorthand for disdain, derision and scorn. The Dawg prefers to avoid crude language, and often a picture is worth a thousand f words. Kevbone and Pink have worked at mining this oeuvre as well, but Raindawg must be acknowledged as the master. Here's some of my personal favorites!

Drater, who bearded you about top roping in another thread, is the person I know of who's closest to the route. I believe it's on private property, not reservation land. I haven't seen a pic of the NE Face on Fortress in dry conditions like that, I can't hardly pick out the route I did back in the hob nails and hemp rope era, which only had three pitches of rock then snow to the top.
