I had one of those Safeway cards, but lost it long ago and of course did not use a real phone number. Now, when the computerized register shows one of those dots that signifies a card related discount, I just enter the phone number 360 555-1212 and smile when they say "thank you Mr. Varela" even though the debit card says White. Hah, Tony Varela even got me a 50 cent per gallon discount on gas the other day. Thanks man.
