Funny thing, I'm in yosemite and my buddy Ammon's cell rings. He's laughing and telling Fred he can't hear him that well. Well when he gets off the phone, he tells me it was Fred asking for beta on Lucky Streaks (I think) and saying that he wanted to come down and climb it. I asked him why he could'nt hear him well. He told me fred was at some party picking up girls.

Yeah, it's a fun long route. I hung out with Ammon and his son for the rest of my time there. We were going to do a wall but Austin hurt his butt and didn't want to camp. I bailed on Minerals because I felt weak and low on energy and didn't feel like doing our proposed route. Fun trip and I met lots of cool people. I might be heading back to the valley in near the end of August, planning on taking another big step in my wall career. Next week I'm heading to Squamsih though. The Chief will look small.

I'm going here for at least a month!

Never went back, was planning on doing it this past April when I was there but rain took over my trip. I'm not real fond of aiding a stream on stuff like that. I have no idea what routes I want to do. I haven't been in aiders in about a month, which means no fast climbing. I just want to get solid on heads and hooks. Wet Denim goes clean now I think. Jesus Built My Hotrod might be pretty fun. I would really prefer a parnter, otherwise it's solo time!

Who wants to climb it in a few weeks? Looking to climb a moderate route, old A3/4 realm. I'm up for leading the hardish pitches, if someone doesn't want to. A ride is avalible but not coming back for a while(mid/late august). PM or post here, not my email.

When you swage the stainless it will be 20-30% weaker at the swaging connection. Stainless wire is "slippery". 7x19 wire is probably better too.

Hmm, use varied diameters of glazanized aircraft cable with a plated copper swage. Don't use stainless wire! If you use say 3/32" wire crimp the swage more than once sealing off the edges.

Massive Oreo Milkshakes are the key. Half tub ice cream, whole milk, and lots of oreos. But seriously, to put fat on you have to eat tons of junk food and sit on your ass all day. Trust me though eating like that gets old fast. My parents have expensive grocery bills!
