didcha know it's got colored rings aroudn it?
  2. so you've impeached bush - now who's the president?!? sorry! realize that image is in far poorer taste than the earlier one
  3. so what's your bottom-line call for action anyhow? impeach bush? what the hell will that change? the wheels of history have already spun aganst W - i doubt he will be fondly remebered to the ages - all that's left is to just gut the next few years w/ the current yahoo n' his crew while waiting for some other shitstorm to capsize us.
  4. what conversation can't be improved w/ a wretched medical pic? i was actually following the whole thing and thought a bref moment of levity was in order...as emphatic and aggravated as we get over poltical ssues it's wise to remember we sould be happy about the bascs- such as not havng a hamburger for a hard-on! making a career out of hanging out w/ 16 year olds hasn't exactly advnced me maturity level either
  5. reading just half of this makes me happy i don't have this wonder if anyone but matt n' peter'll see it? sorry to disappoint you all, but that pic had to go --OW
  6. jeebus bill! can't play 2morrow as i'm baby-sitting and was in the er y-day after destroying me arm at the gym in an arm-bar gone bad...
  7. sounds too good to be true - i thought the groundhog saw his shadow?
  8. true dat - an altimeter and common sense alone oughta've prevented that fuck-up
  9. i think the glacier bits of the fisher chimney route might be kinda intimidating for a solo - it's a spectacularly scenic setting though and maybe worth getting swallowed for we did a lot of crevasse jumping when i was there and one of my boys fell in a crack just below hell's hiway re: jo'burg solo - definitely a wierd route to be solo on - very brushy and mossy so you often lack that "solid" feeling you want while soloing - still, if you're in the parking lot and it looks too freaky, circling round to the east ridge is an option and that route is mostly 4th class (albeit chossy)
  10. the cooper spur will most likely be thin and unpleasant by mid-july - depends on how hot it gets before then of course, but i've done it on the 4th of july before - the sunshine route is an alternative if the spur's out but you're already on that side of the mountain - it is all glacier though, but the cracks are obvious by mid-summer - hell, some jackass climbed it w/ cowboy boots and a bowie knife a few years back...
  11. word! and if you hit the "man i suck and will never be able to free above this level" barrier it's a good reason to learn how to aid climb...
  12. ne buttress of johannesburg (or the tamer east ridge) west ridge of forbidden (or the east for that matter) ne ridge of triumph torment-forbidden traverse

well -were i a cop - i'd certainly like my chances more 'gainst the hippies than the nihilistic hill-fucks
  15. ice cliff glacier on stuie - you can make dru happy by doing the girth pilla afterwards - be sure to leave a nuetrino!
  16. so can i count my spring climbs as winter climbs when i return to the car to find myself fined for not having a winter parking pass?
  17. if you want out of the way and zero crevasse danger climb the cooper spur - a beautiful thing this time of year as you generally have the norht side of the mountain all to yourself. the route itself is impossible to get lost on and has no cracks, though spring slides have been know to fawk folks up on it

    vagina?
  19. pretty much all the options up there are the same - they're very short, about the same steepness, icy in parts and funneling rock n' ice when it's falling - you don't really need a picture - just stand on the hogsback and pick any line you want to the top from the pearly gates or off to the left - they're pretty much equal, but usually less traveled on popular days. west crater rim really isn't much steeper, except this one very very short section right at the top before leveling out for the summit slog

"jesus christ! what's that smell?" "yeah - it appears that a vagrant used the car as a shelter for the night - or maybe just as a toilet."
