  1. Bill yur a tree hugger arntcha? Who owns Utah? GOD! Just ask any Mormon. And they vote accordingly.
  2. I've been rude on-site. Now I'm afraid I'm gonna get beat up. Maybe I better add a cup to my list.
  3. I have a bag of girls clothes of all kinds. Mostly for age 6-8. PM me if you are interested. Free. Some pile, some shorts, some pants, some shirts etc.... Goodwill soon.
  4. Whoa trigger! I'm not "FOR" Americanizing everything or anything. I'm just saying we shouldn't be dissing them for wanting our riches. Here we are fighting over the quality of cams that we are going to buy with our spare money so that we can use them in our spare time while they are still trying to get food on the table.
  5. Hopefully we will be good at it by then.
  6. OK. Add Depends then.
  7. I used to be down on developing nations that sacrificed their environment and human rights to build an industrial complex. But then I listened to a African woman describe what it was like to have no hope before the factories came. It sucks that China is so repressive and kills people for the wrong reasons. It also sucks that the environment is suffering and we will all pay. But they want what we take for granted. When I was little in the 60's Japan was making crap. If it said "Made in Japan" it cost pennies, was simple to manufacture and fell apart soon. Now they are an industrial and economic powerhouse with a strong middle class and much more reasonable human rights. Mexico is on that path, Brazil, China, India, and so forth. As long as we continue to think that we have the right to pass judgement on these people for doing the same things we did to native Americans and minorities (railraod labor was 90% from China in the 1800's), we are just being stuffy assholes. They will progress past these hard times. I am not saying we shouldn't say anything or not lash out for specific violations, but blanket statements about other people/countries who are just trying to build a better life for their citizenry are patently wrong.
  8. Just don't suck on your cams. They may have high concentrations of lead.
  9. The pink fox beat me to it. To add to the (excellent)article he posted, I also get blurred vision at Ropeup. I beleive it to be related to the close proximity to climbers' toxic farts.
  10. Your eyes will pop. Actually, I doubt that you have anything to worry about. There were definate problems with people who had Radial Karetotomy (RK)which was the predecessor to Lasic but they are very different procedures. With RK, small pieces of the cornea were sliced out so that the eye would kind of collapse into a better shape. It was these areas that were sliced out that caused problems at altitude due to the inconsistencies in the cornea. With Lasic, a flap of the cornea is opened up, folded back, and the layer underneath is kind of sanded down with the laser. Then the flap is layed back down and the effect on the eye is uniform. There may still be problems but I have not heard of any. My brother did lasic procedures for awhile. He said the only problem he has seen personally is that cataracts seem to show up earlier. But his experience is anecdotal not a scientific study. I had PRK, a form of lasic about three years ago. I have not been above 14,410 since then but I have been in -50 which was also known to cause problems for people who had RK for the same reasons I mentioned above. I just see better. There have been no negative side effects. A few months vs a year for true lasic (not PRK) should not make a difference. Your epiphilium was probably totally healed in less than a week. Ah, here you go; "Air Force surgeons said they were concerned with how this LASIK flap would hold up with pilots and crewmembers in high-altitude, low-oxygen environments, especially in an emergency evacuation. Studies now show that there is little or no effect on LASIK treated eyes when put through the windblast of an aircraft ejection or when exposed to high altitude." http://cw11.empowereddoctor.com/story_1196.html
  11. There are some things you just don't ask an old fart.
  12. Glucosamine, stool softener, and Preparation H. I can't decide between the wipes, the paste, or the suppositories. What do you think?
  13. why do you mock me? Hopefully you are kidding. If not, here is why I posted similar to yours, I too am leaving from Issaquah Fri 1:30. I will go I90 over and 2 back so I can stop at the Grocery Outlet in Monroe and stock up on cheep eats. Then I will drop my frozen goods off at my apt in Redmond. If someone from Issaquah is riding along, I would return them after stopping to unload my frozen items. Do you need to see my grocery list? Oops. Didn't mean to mock you...... You can learn a lot about a person by looking at their grocery list. Before I get into a car with a complete stranger, perhaps it wouldn't be such bad idea. If it was a committing alpine climb being discussed, I'd be more interested in a climbing resume, but given the nature of the weekend, a grocery list is probably at least as, if not more relevant. 1 case of coolwhip in the aerosol cans.

  15. Shake it before you get there or someone will steal the nitrous oxide.
  16. I need to drop into Grocery Outlet in Monroe Sunday eve and return to Redmond with the haul.
  17. I'll be leaving Issaquah around 130 Friday if anybody wants a ride. Depending on how long the drive takes, maybe even a couple pitches on Friday afternoon/evening.
  18. But,...... I thought all politicians WERE dishonest. Now I'm really confused. Yosemite is a circus. I agree. They should dismantle some of those attractions to thin out the crowds. Maybe take Everest down a couple hundred feet with a bomb so it isn't the highest mnt anymore. Circus Scmircus. Life sucks. just kill yourself. Or get over it. Other people are having fun.
  19. May his manhood remain squishy for all eternity.
  20. What happens inside the little black box shall remain a mystery.
  21. Three-way doggie style? Now that's a pertinent climbing topic.
