I am buying four. One for each daughter. Do they come with condom dispensers?

I'm the majority in my own mind.

Ryland was offering to sell his pair second hand.

Don't apologize to Pete. You will only encourage him. The trip you are asking about is totally reasonable in safe avalanche conditions. It would be a great trip. Coming out the Stuart Lk TH would mean coming down Asgard pass. It is very steep. Cliffy in places. You have to pick your route carefully. Or watch this board closely and see who is doing climbs on Dragontail. They will all come down Asgard pass. PM them about the route down the pass. Most people here will be happy to share information. Also watch avy conditions and weather forcast. So the list is: Get good beta from people who have recently traveled the steep parts. Follow avy danger and weather for a few weeks before your trip. When things look good, boogie. Don't ask for bootpack beta down Asgard pass and expect it to be useful a week later.

Do you need a permit to climb Hood? Are there any checkin procedures at all? Where will the money come from to enforce any law that is passed? I would sit and wait for the smoke to clear. Or write your congress people. I would be more concerned about the Mt Bachelor situation where a corporate entity has the enforcement team in place.

Politician. Anyone who wants the job should be automatically disqualified.

The death penalty should not be argued as a deterent. It's usefulness is in removing worthless scum with nothing to lose from the prison environment. Get back on topic now.......

It is done frequently when avy conditions are OK. http://www.nwac.us/ There are many bad avy slopes both (all) ways in.

I have wide feet too and used this boot on Denali. I loved them and did not use my overboots. Still, it is highly advisable to take overboots. My trip temps only got down to -50. That's nothing compared to when a wind storm blows in. My biggest mistake on Denali was NOT taking skiis. The skiing out of 14000 camp was stellar. I could only watch. I love my Scarpas with Dynafit bindings. They fit like a glove and are warm. I would probably need overboots in -50 with them though.

They lost my business too. Money-grubbing assholes

Avalanche cords were the only thing available in my youth. We glued ping-pong balls to the ends to give them flotation. Never heard of any statistics on how well it worked. Just seemed like a good idea. I have had friends who died or were hurt in avalanches while skiing. All of them were either Ski patrol or guides checking conditions.

No frostbite or immersion foot to report. But here is what I do to keep my feet warm. I have worn light hiking boots up Rainier several times. Asolo's. They are much like these (http://www.rei.com/product/706762) only not gortex. My feet stay warm under very cold temps. There are conditioning and gear tricks that I use. Conditioning tricks include lots of foot exercises. Ankle rotations (using theraband), toe lifts, and wearing light shoes in cold weather as often as I can to vascularize my feet. Gear tricks have mostly been listed here already, don't get your boots too tight. Don't let your feet get wet. If your boots get wet, pull out plastic bread bags and put them over dry socks. Standing on cold snow conducts heat out the soles. Have good insulation in your footbeds/soles.

Welcome to corporate America. Being a taxpayer is no longer enough. Now you need to pay a fee or buy stock or both. Please file your complaints in triplicate on form 321:14:a:12.

Leaning wankers. Well done! -
Think about it in context of the time frame. A tin can on a giant firecracker. You have a cannister of oxygen and a parachute. The monkey didn't have a choice.

Nobody wanted to go into WWII either. My main concern with Bush and now with Obama's strategy is, "we can do it alone". We should set a time table for when other nations get into the fray and pull our troops out accordingly. As long as the Taliban can call this a US aggression, macho idiots with guns will be coming out of the woodwork. But one thing is very clear. The Taliban are not going to quietly go away. And as long as they are around, our problems aren't over. War sucks. If you have to participate, it should be all in for the quickest results.

Howdy neighbor. Some anti-fungal cream will take care of that incessant ich.
