Headed up to the great north over Thanksgiving. I've taken four roadtrips to watefall ice climb around the parkway and I'd like check out some other spots. I've heard Kanaskis gets good early season ice. Any recomendations or beta for routes there or other places to check into? Looking primarily for longer grade 4 and 5's.
That's awesome. We don't need roadless areas, wild salmon, or old growth forests anyway. They just stand in the way of PROGRESS. Plus God created all the animals and plants for humans to consume anyway.
Index was great on Sunday. After a way sketchy exposed slabby moss traverse by Lunger we got on GM to the easy .11 then rapped down and did Heart of the Country, then went over and messed around on Cunning Stunt and some other Country crag pitches. All totally dry. Even saw some sun. It was real nice.
