I was getting really steamed and with old age I am starting to handle it better than I used too . I wouldn't use the guys name if I knew it I truly have no wish to get anyone in trouble at work . I didn't say anything to the other person working there but I had to go . He wasn't even insulting me it was a friend of mine who just sat there and took it in stride. Believe me this guy can take care of hisself but I am sure due to his devoted christian lifestyle he was able to look at it in a different way than his hothead friend Dan.I work in the service industry and have for 20 years if you don't like the job get another one if you can. In the meantime be the best whatever you are. The public deserves to be treated with a smile and courteously, simple stuff and that is part of what dealing with the public is all about . I hate to feel like I am putting someone out when I chose to spend my money somewhere and am pretty sure most people feel the same way.

I know alot of people on this site like feathered friends.Today a good friend of mine went in to rent a pair of plastics and crampons. He ended up just passing after the extremely rude treatment by the worker it was truly unbelievable . Anyone else have this experience or was the guy just a typical cc.com poster. It wasn't Colin as he has always been courteous and professional.The choices were simple .....punch him out and go to jail or just go .....we left (I hate Jail)

WOW!!!!!!! She has 32 years on me and by the sound of things I would be going ALL OUT to stay with her . This is a truly remarkable feat . Congrats and god bless

There are 4 of us and it should be a good workout and who knows maybe even fun. I almost always go on a Sun/Mon this last Sun. I arrived at Muir at 430PM and the hut was COMPLETELY empty . Rangers said the area was full at Muir (not so , at all)??

Dog route Danny summits the D.C. again. I never want to do it again I am finally burned out . Summited at 530 am conditions were perfect but enough is enuf

Obviously you are a FAR (not sarcastic) more accomplished climber than myself and you look at your objectives a lot more boldly than I do. I am cautious and have only done a few things ( mostly dog rainier routes)I climb for a good workout and the atmosphere of Mt. Rainier mostly . Not trying to ruffle feathers here but I am at the point where I listen to the reports and plan accordingly . So you are saying Hair For Men really works?

Dude you are scaring me. There is a book called mt. Rainier a Climbing guide by Big Mike Gauthier. It will let you know what is up that coupled with the NPS route conditions would be a good start in picking a route or you could just ask Daniel Patrick and he will let you know the conditions when he climbed it 2 years ago

No kidding! August Liberty Ridge doesn't sound too appealing. I don't know your climbing experience but it is probably more extensive than mine. One thing I have learned however is research the route ie,,, time of year it is in shape and Mt. Rainier current conditions

I ride to work year round rain or shine also . Lots of accidents in cars caused by the cell phones . When you ride alot your head has to be on a swivel. Mercer Island housewives are the worst.Even I have gotten into some major hassles on my bike with motorists ( can you believe that???)One guy even said I d on't belong in the gene pool I turned around and the loudmouth drove off .....coulda been Schram

Don't know the name but ..in Ashford little walk -up white shack with a very good burger with swiss cheese and Jalapenos on it ....dang good. Across the street from the Hobo Inn (train motel and restaurant)

I know there are 1 or 2 of ya that think ill of me since I have let my cyber alter ego get out of hand on occasion.
