they also can't afford to make small shell pants for women. :-( XS, i mean.

the first time i went to j-tree, i was driving with a girl from the valley who had lived in j-tree for several years. when we neared, i asked her what those ugly trees were. i don't think she was very thrilled with my question, but hey - i didn't know, and where i come from trees don't look anything like that! the ones i asked her about didn't look like the one you have pictured here either - they must have been the babies. that one looks cool! i was in palm springs for work in january and the weather rocked a perfect 70 degrees. it must be prana-top tanning weather now! post more pictures, will ya? need a little sun here in my office!

i was probably looking at one last year, but they actually don't make a dual suspension kona small enough for me. i had to hold out until i could find a good frame i could afford.

i never had a dawg. i had a dog once, though. great little guy. his name was bandit, and he was the coolest pug ever! he sort of looked like this guy (except on all fours):

soloing rainier in august: hardcore or stupid???
thelawgoddess replied to kdk1610's topic in Mount Rainier NP
probably more than you think. for the legal attempts i'm guessing the nps might have some estimates. ??? anyone who's already set this goal should really already know what these might be ... and be prepared to face and deal with and/or walk away from them. (btw, reading the solo permit application might be helpful in providing some food for thought.) that's an incredibly subjective question, and (like others said) it really depends. there are so many factors that come into question when making this type of decision, and if you haven't tried to think of and through every one of them before coming to terms with it (and it's possible consequences), i would venture to say that isn't so wise. but there's plenty of time between now and then to gather information, assess yourself, and make your best decision. -
not really ... unless you count a 1-foot drop at the south surrey bike park. i just bought the bike and there isn't a whole lot of mtb'ing in my past due to my previous unfortunate lack of funds to afford a capable machine that fit me ... so it'll be a little while before i can handle my new big bike. it's going to be a fun summer, though!

offwhite ... ever one of the few voices of reason. i've met tons of great people on this site, a few of whom may have flipped me more than my fair share of shit here and there ( - you know who you are!) but that's just how life goes sometimes. this board really is just one huge dysfunctional family - siblings will be siblings as it were, and so on ... and just like becoming the stepchild of a "real" family, it sometimes takes time and effort to figure out how you fit into the big picture. meeting these folks in person can really make a difference.

i LOVE my kong heliums for alpine and my dmm prowires for "more sporty" stuff. d'ovals if you want something more round-like. neutrino's come in cool colors but are a bit small for my taste.
