Willis Wall should be in fine shape by August. Serioulsly, the Mt. Adams South Spur is a worthy objective for beginners with a "big mountain" feel to it. It's an easy overnighter with a nice big bivy at the lunch counter. Fun summit day too, crampons and iceaxes recomended so, you still feel like you are "climbing". Great views of Hood and the Columbia river all the way up with a nice view of Rainier on a clear day as a reward for getting to the top. No real exposure or danger other than glissading and (obvioulsy) weather. Have fun (its the most important part)

the only issue I have is Dru and Caveman both being gone at the same time, I mean come on what the hell am I supposed to do for the next week, work???

I am sorry I missed you, I got to the parking lot at 5:30 with 3 of the Budwiser girls, (you know the ones in the ads) and we partied until about 2:30am, drank a whole keg of beer , decided nobody else was coming and didn't want to wait there all night and went home. Just kidding about the bud girls and the keg, I just figured since both you and Lambone had planned to be out there already and weren't found, (I hiked everything from the country to the inner town wall) nobody else was coming and went home at around 7:30. There were spectacular views of the mountains. If it makes you feel any better, I'd be glad to hook up with you another time out there, especially durring the week. I can give you some pointers on flailing and crying.
