  1. you never have to worry bout this with hexes and nutz
  2. Instead of sterile circular argument I propose an active face to face meeting to settle the iussue. Both sides are encouraged to bring their typically used implements. Crack bolters show up with chisels and Hiltis. Super trads bring piton hammers, big balls, crowbars and dirt trowels. Last man standing wins the argument. Capt. Caveman and I will referee.
  3. what about morning glory seeds harvested from your backyard oh stupid troller beck?

list the gear you bought but have never used not even once (inside your house does not count). mine is a minitraxion pulley and a belay seat (butt bag).
  14. the chronic wasting disease will kill them first
  15. "ground up" would entail getting your feet wet. is it "ground up" if you start from a canoe, and then if the water level goes down you have to go back and do the newly exposed 10 feet, like adding a sit start on to a boulder problem?
  16. Why then would Kay call his ascent the FA of the full ridge He does: '91 CAJ: "complete north ridge. FA/FWA February 27/28, 1991" fairley guide for original baumann asc. describes approaching from west via a "contouring" from the pass to Nw but it looks to me like you would descend to ridge toe in the winter photo from W. as the shelf part way up looks hard to gain directly. i don't know who told me you approached from roe creek. maybe it was guy.
  17. its all the fault of that damn sherriff
  18. i dont believe you will find much ice on shuksan in the winter unless you have the ability to tunnel downwards through 100 feet of freshiez
  19. fat is aid a skinny person has to carry more gear to stay warm
  20. north ridge of baker. you could make it into a two day climb if you went slowly. some of the others on your list are more like 2 hour ice climbs.
  21. repent SINNER
  22. the Baumann et al FA of the north ridge was made via the lower portion of the ridge direct from Roe Creek. i heard it sucks to get from Roe Creek to the base unless you like devils club
  23. any route ever bolted by Robin Barley even if it was 5 minutes ago.
