Stuart via the N. ridge original route, sans the directisma, on July 4th of 1988, we had the mountain all to ourselves and didn't see another person the whole time. And I don't think there has been anyone who has defended scotti's comments, just those who have asked whether one colossal offensive post is grounds for forcible ejection.
