max Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 My standard is a pair of St. Johns Bay Classic khakiis. Loose enough fit, $40, and moderately durable. Of course, they get wet when it rains.... My buddy picked up a pair of wool slacks at VV and seems to do alright. The Carharts are too tight in the crotch for me. Pete_H Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Dickies are my preferred pant for any non-alpine rock. Being partially made of polyester they're somewhat stretchy and shed water a bit. OlympicMtnBoy Posted January 18, 2011 Share Posted January 18, 2011 I don't know if they are "non-climbing" pants but Gramicci's can be found on SierraTradingPost.com for $20-30 pretty frequently in a variety of styles and materials.
