summitchaserCJB
I think an opportunity was missed when they failed to install missile silos at Gowned Zero. This decade's over in 4 months. After it is, if I hear yet another jaggoff utter the phrase 'terrorist threat', I'm going to shit in their mouth. GET FUCKING OVER IT. I'm not putting you in control of homeland security. Best option would be drop TTK somewhere deep in Islamofascistan and let him fend for himself there... he'd last a whole 3 nanoseconds. Or I'd be invited to somebody's wedding within 3 days, like the first time I ever went abroad. It's been about the same every trip after that the world over. JosephH
If 9/11 had happened in Beijing, the entire WTC site would have been completely rebuilt and back in operation by 2005 and there would have been a half million Chinese troops in Afghanistan. rob
That's not a fair comparison though, because a half-million chinese troops is basically one year's graduating class.
JosephH
We didn't have a half million troops in Afghanistan (and another in Iraq) because Cheney and Rumsfeld knew the American people had no stomach for a 'real' war and so went cheap and light to keep things under a threshold of pain that could be largely ignored by a shopping public. In the process they put untold young American lives at risk and invested a trillion dollars in perfecting IEDs as the weapon of choice in modern asymmetric warfare against our military. rob
If they were going to continue the band, they should have gotten a singer with his own personality. Epic fail. They're no better than the old, washed-up bands that play casinos these days. Hey, I know! Maybe Fleetwood Mac can open for them? They can sell memorial t-shirts by the door for $60, next to $6 bottles of water. Sell outs.
