kevbone Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I damn near went to hunt down his post about that ridiculuously overexaggerated fall at smith to paraphrase... A 30 foot fall that pulled gear and broke rock out on 5.11 runout climb is overexaggerated? I dont think so. Quote

j_b Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Serious bummer! Your body will get better but you'll have to watch your psychi while you recover. Quote
Dechristo Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Sorry to hear of your injury, RuMR. "Tibia" is a rather strange nickname for your appendage - phonically similar to a female bit of anatomy. So, you broke the end off...what does that leave you with? An half an inch? Quote
DRep Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Damn Rudy, looks like I passed off some of my awesome karma to you! Sorry to hear about this dude. Good luck. Quote
RuMR Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 thanks dave! I'll be in making love to the finger board, campus board and pull up cage... Quote
Bug Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Go to PT early. I have spent almost three years trying to heal my right knee. Haven't climbed anything hard for that long. I just went in today and he gave it about two or three weeks of therapy to get back on snow and ice and another month or two to build for high stress climbing. Quote
RuMR Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 PT = play time...as soon as i get out of this cast, i'm cranking...Feb. 10, here i come!!! Quote

glassgowkiss Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Rudy, think positive! out of all this suck- fractures you have one that usually gets 100% resolved. My wife just had her subtalar joint fused because of calcanous fracture 4 years ago. btw 15 weeks in a cast and walking cast. so we feel your pain. Quote
