I damn near went to hunt down his post about that ridiculuously overexaggerated fall at smith to paraphrase...

A 30 foot fall that pulled gear and broke rock out on 5.11 runout climb is overexaggerated? I dont think so.

a H U G E bouldering fall of about 3 feet!!!! I clipped the edge of the pad...screamed a whole slew of obscenities...luckily, there weren't a lot of tender ears around.

Surgury is on monday...

That does suck. Here's to a fast recovery RuMR!

Sorry to hear of your injury, RuMR.

"Tibia" is a rather strange nickname for your appendage - phonically similar to a female bit of anatomy.

So, you broke the end off...what does that leave you with? An half an inch?

Go to PT early.

I have spent almost three years trying to heal my right knee.

Haven't climbed anything hard for that long.

I just went in today and he gave it about two or three weeks of therapy to get back on snow and ice and another month or two to build for high stress climbing.

Rudy, think positive! out of all this suck- fractures you have one that usually gets 100% resolved. My wife just had her subtalar joint fused because of calcanous fracture 4 years ago. btw 15 weeks in a cast and walking cast. so we feel your pain.
