denalidave Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 ME, ME, ME... I do, I do. In fact, I was just looking around on the internet the other day about how to go about getting into the wind farm field. As I understand it, there are some college courses/certificates that can be done first and then the wind farms are hiring upon completion of the certification. I just started looking into it so if you have any other useful info on the subject I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Dave Quote

northwest Posted November 18, 2008 Author Posted November 18, 2008 We are a Rope Access Fiberglass Repair company but certainly not limited to rope work or fiberglass. I am looking for good people who have rope skills, a good head at 250ft off the ground, and good attitudes. Bonus, if you have fiberglass knowledge, construction experience or similar trade skills. Extra bonus if you climb, ski, enjoy adult drinks, and childish humor! Quote

Frikadeller Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 How much does it pay? I got a headhunter call from one of the windfarms in eastern Oregon because they where looking for mechanics, and I am a HVAC Mechanic. Umm.... Yeah, they where offering $15 an hour... No thanks. that's $17 less an hour than I am making now. Quote
