rob Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 My son got in his first fistfight yesterday. Of course, he's in trouble -- fire and brimstone all week. But I can't help feeling satisfaction that he got in the last punch.... Is that just a guy thing? Quote
ivan Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 my daughter's been getting in trouble for wailing on folks at her pre-school - apparently the other girls are mean to her - i somehow doubt my ability to solve this most ancient of intractable problems - better to be the beater than the beaten though, no? rob Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 How much WWE do you let him watch rob? watching violence is so 1990's. This is the 21st century; he is now able to participate in mindless violence via the awesome medium that is XBox. Quote

Dechristo Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 Most of the times I fist-fought (on a daily basis), the fight was brought (and often forced) to/on me. Quote

minx Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 how old is he rob? i remember in the third grade my son got in a few playground squabbles. i just kept a pretty even keel about it. told him it was wrong etc etc etc. it seemed to pass. i always thought it was great that he and his friend could get into a huge playground fight on wednesday and be best buds at the soccer practice thursday evening. i wouldn't worry too much. some kids just don't like each other.
