Fairweather Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Snow out in Beaver, WA for the first day of spring. Â Just a trace of the crusty white stuff, lying mostly around the outskirts with heavier deposits just south of town? Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Just harvested my first spinach, beyo-chez. Mufukin leaf buds are freakin. First tulips, but their not on your tiny organ. Quote

tvashtarkatena Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) I planted in Sept and overwintered everything under a cloche: snowpeas, mustards, endive, lettuce, spinach, cilantro, elephant garlic, mache. Gave it a shot of bloodmeal March 1st when it started to wake up, now it's going nuts. Love that Seattle climate (sometimes). Edited March 21, 2008 by tvashtarkatena Quote

Dechristo Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I have such. Takes a lot of dressing to make it palatable, but no need for croutons. Â Â Quote
ivan Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I overwintered everything under a cloche: which i mistook as as a homelass camp upon awakening from a psychotropic blackout episode at 2 a.m. a few months ago i seem to recall Quote
