Bug

A devastating earthquake releases a horde of mutant cockroaches with the pesky ability to start fires. And that's not good news for a small, isolated California desert town that stands in the way of these creepy-crawlies. The whole mess begins to obsess a science professor (Bradford Dillman) to the point of madness. This ecological disaster flick, directed by Jeannot Szwarc, was legendary horror producer William Castle's final film.

probably not the "bug" you're recommending though ;)

The Third Man - delightfully evil film noir classic

Murder on the Orient Express - more evil you can't help but smile at

Charade - any film with the line "You fell for her like an egg from a tall chicken!" is so worth a watch

+2 on Harold and Maude. I remember seeing it in the theater when I was a kid.

Brutal. Message and delivery were about as subtle as being strapped to a chair, the having the director roll a stage-amp from a Slayer show a couple of inches away before he starts shouting a four word summary of the message into the microphone over and over again until the bleeding out the ears requires medical attention.....

"Triumph of the Will" has a light-touch by comparison.
