Bug Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Men marry a woman thinking she will not change. She does. Women marry a man thinking he will change. He does not.

G-spotter Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 The sum total of all the truths that mankind has learned over the millenia cannot surpass that one statement. [one roof/(two women+one man)]=trouble
olyclimber Posted September 12, 2007 Author Posted September 12, 2007 Especially if one is your mom. Dru, are you coming to the Ropeup this year? I want to personally extend an invitation to you.
G-spotter Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Please don't personally extend anything of yours towards me (except your hand with a free beer in it.)
olyclimber Posted September 12, 2007 Author Posted September 12, 2007 You'll lap beer from my hand? What about peanut butter? You've got to have some good pictures for the slide show. Yes, I'll have free beer there for you.
Bug Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Does this mean we have stop drifting? Then answer this about ropeup, is there free beer for everybody?
olyclimber Posted September 12, 2007 Author Posted September 12, 2007 Just like last year. And the year before.

Billygoat Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Men marry a woman thinking she will not change. She does. Women marry a man thinking he will change. He does not. Nice one Keith! That is the prime distillation
amber10_79 Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 lol truer (sp?) have never been spoken
Bug Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 4 weeks till Rope Down. Bump. Gotcher gear outa the closet yet? For you newbies, there is always a couple of experienced climbers who are willing to go out with you and climb things. Sunday morning, not early, I will go up the R&D Route on Icicle Buttress if anyone is interested. The R&D route is 4 easy pitches (5.6). Or we can veer into more difficult terrain if you want to (5.8). It is a great first muti-pitch climb. The protection is great, the rock is clean, and the over-all quality is very high for an easy route. All you need are shoes and a harness. Think about it and PM me if you are interested.
kevino Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I don't know anyone here really, but I think I am gonna go since its one of the few weekends I don't have a cross country race. Does anyone want to climb the west ridge of prusik depending on weather?

olyclimber Posted September 18, 2007 Author Posted September 18, 2007 Today I was just working on arranging some fine refreshments for you to enjoy. I'll be making sure its there early Friday evening. I don't want to see any empty kegs leaving on Sunday afternoon, or I'm leaving this site and going off to post at Summit Post or Northwest Hikers instead. There will 2-3 so start excercising to be in shape! Should I bring my (of course if someone brings me a wheelchair I'll use it)
Dechristo Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Your poll should've included a third choice in apparatus to assist you in mobility: an anal-mounted pogo stick.
olyclimber Posted September 18, 2007 Author Posted September 18, 2007 Well...the "pole" wasn't for how you're getting around there decristo. This isn't about you after all.
amber10_79 Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 Ok, I'm a beginner, and I'm bringing a few beginner friends....are kids ok on this? Mine is 10 and he loves climbing!
