tvashtarkatena Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I do a fair bit of public speaking and I can assure you, from my experience at least, that saying something really stupid in front of a live audience is both easy and fun for the whole family. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 (edited) Wow, folks act like they've never said anything stupid before. How the hell do you all know this girl's IQ after hearing one thing--a flub she made under stress. Â Quite right. I would think that, say, around 10,033 flubs would be sufficient though. billcoe Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I usually give out handjobs, but you, I'll suck your dick. Â Â Mikey don't roll that way. Â Â Â Quote
archenemy Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Plus, the question was loaded. Â Girls don't know what a map is. Â I'd demand a different question. Quote

G-spotter Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 "Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate the United States on a world map. Why do you think this is?" Â Because they're stupid. Â A lot more than a fifth of Americans are stupid! Quote
lizard_brain Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Okay. With that answer, she got third runner-up. What I want to know is, how pathetic did the others have to be? Or did they even listen to the answers? Did they just watch their 'presentation'? Â Quote
archenemy Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 It's comical. When women are smart and not pretty enough, men just mention that they are not pretty enough. When a gal is pretty but not smart enough, men just rag on her for being dumb. Â Then again, there is always the "she has a great personality" line... Quote
olyclimber Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 me, i just look at the hips for child bearing Quote
lizard_brain Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Yeah well, this was more than a little error in speech - she didn't hold a thought for more than three seconds at a time. It was as though someone had cut and pasted random groups of three- and four-word phrases from a newspaper and pasted them in a row, punctuation be damned, or like listening to someone tuning a radio dial up and down between stations at random. Add the goofy smile before and after and for me it was just plain embarassing. Quote
lizard_brain Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 ...Then I thought "...But can she cook?" Quote
archenemy Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 True, but who didn't act like an idiot when they were a teenager. It's just that none of us were that good-looking. Quote
olyclimber Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Two little words: Al Qaeda  listen to it backwards. Quote

KaskadskyjKozak Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 and she's really stupid, so you might even stand a chance with her! lizard_brain Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I think everyone just missed her point. She was too sharp for us. She was demonstrating why so many U.S. Americans can't find... Wait, what was the question? Quote
