EWolfe Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Please advise, as teh wastelands of midwest have dusted me out. Quote
catbirdseat Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 As my English neighbor used to say, "you are rude, screwed and tatooed". Quote
ClimbingPanther Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 If she does not want to move to the PNW, then she may not be "the one." That's cool though man, I hope you can find a way to work things out. Talk on the phone lots, or maybe even get a webcam & Skype to be more personal. e-mail or IM is no good for a primary form of communication. Let things just happen the way they happen for a while and you'll know what to do. If she's the one for you and you both know it, you'll both be happy to move to be together. Quote
goatboy Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Hmmm..having had several cross-country and inter-continental long distance relationships, they were all character building but neither worked out. I was certain, at the time, that these people were 'soul mates' but in the end, my soul is in the NW and so is my mates'. Â I didn't need to move to Florida (aah!) or Germany to find happiness, and I doubt you'll find any in the god-forsaken plains of the midwest. Â So, call this person and tell them you love them and want them to come out here when they're ready. Then, forget about it and have a beer or go climb something. Worked for me!!! Quote
billcoe Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 "I say puke.  If you hurl and she comes back, she's yours. If you blow chunks and she bolts, then it was never meant to be." - Wayne Campbell  Good luck with it E. Quote
Winter Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Why pine for your soul mate on the other side of the country when the bottle of Jim Beam is right next to you? Quote
dinomyte Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Maybe you should change your name to "Miser E". Â Oh come on, it's as good a suggestion as half the others! Â Good luck. Quote
G-spotter Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 In 6 months you'll have broken up and wonder what you saw in her anyway. Quote
