archenemy
I am tired of the rainy weekends. I am tired of complaining about rainy weekends. Maybe Seattle should have a more flexible week and just call it Saturday any day its not raining.
catbirdseat
Oh, did it rain in Seattle? It wasn't raining in Vantage.
RogerJ
You could move to Portland. It only rains here on weekdays and not during bike commute times either.
archenemy
That sounds convenient, but my brother lives in Portland. I don't think one city can handle two people from my family at once.

It took an act by the State Legislature, didn't it? Why don't our people in Olympia do THEIR job and make it rain on weekdays?

archenemy
Better than I deal with a year of

Maybe Seattle should have a more flexible week and just call it Saturday any day its not raining. Â Ditto on the rec to take up kayaking. It's the perfect sport for the "shoulder" seasons. When everyone on this site is bummed because it's too wet to climb rock and too warm for anything to freeze, you'll be busy watching the gauges rise and getting psyched for a weekend o' boating. archenemy
And I'd finish the whole thing off by drowning. Water is bad enough falling out of the sky.

Dustin_B
You are saying seattle sucks because it was nice for ~10 days and then rained for a couple days which happened to be the two days you had off?? Sounds like the problem is your job/schedule and not Seattle...
archenemy
Gee, thanks Mr. Dustin B. Genius! Golly, the insight surely is appreciated.
Stefan
Don't try and fight the rain. Embrace it. Give your heart peace. Â I don't wanna be looking back on my life and say, "I did not get out enough becuase of the weather." So I go out regardless of the weather. It is true. Ask Klenke and catbirdseat. They see my trip reports. Edited May 8, 2006 by Stefan
