Weekend_Climberz Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 So...Not to stereotype homeless people, but if you are homeless and looking for free food to score out of a dumster I doubt you will first stop at the libray and check the internet for the best spots. Quote
catbirdseat Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 So you're holding back on the good beta. Shame on you! Quote
olyclimber Posted April 26, 2006 Author Posted April 26, 2006 my little bro and his pals got a bunch of rolls of that really tough fabric from Filson's dumpster a while back. Good for patching up your jeans, etc. Quote

You ever been to the downtown Seattle public library? If it weren't for all the books and fancy architecture you'd mistake it for a homeless shelter, especially in the winter. That's where homeless people hang out and shit. There's probably some smart homeless folks in Seattle with all the time they spend there. Quote
catbirdseat Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 If not smart, then certainly well-read. Quote
G-spotter Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Or maybe I found it in a library? Anyway, I'm sure it was abandoned and so, legally, finders keepers and all that. Quote

Not just homeless people dumpster dive. Did you see the establishments that are located on that map? The person that this map is meant to appeal to (and probably created by) is none other than your garden variety, black carhart hoody wearing, dirty fingernail biting, shit-talking about things you don't know anything about, Northwest Anarchist. I lived with those dicks once, they LOVE dumpsters. It's like a statement of how REAL they are and how wasteful mainstream society is. Quote
olyclimber Posted April 27, 2006 Author Posted April 27, 2006 I've heard stories from people who work at Microsoft pulling perfectly good computers, monitors, etc out of the garbage bins over there. Fucken anarchists. Quote
chris Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 It looked like the perfect dumpster guide for climbing bums. Quote
magellan Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Greek Row: look up and down the alleys on either side at the end of the UW school year: the second and third weeks of June. Whole households get thrown out. You can find whatever you need. hmmmmmmm..... Quote
