dalius Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 That's the FleblebSteb. Where is that dude these days? Quote
Rocksanyone Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Wirl, if I recall correctly from a couple years back, that didn't stop you from slogging up in the snow in your shorts to climb! Quote
Double_E Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I'm gonna go fer SURE this year, unless I somehow get sick or injured in a manner that prevents it. I had to miss the last Ski-In cuz of a nasty cold/fever... but I was sick a couple days just this past week, so chances are I won't get sick again for at least a few months from now!! Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 unless I somehow get sick or injured in a manner that prevents it. Common Dude! Positive mental attitude! Wanna hit up some brews soon Quote
Double_E Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Brews are always good. So wassup, I thot you were climbing this weekend, foo..? If you don't go climbing tomorrow, you should come skiing with us!! ... me n' Chris and Jerry, and some others. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Headed to do some bolt clipping tomorrow. Had to spin around town today and get stuff done around the house. Quote
Ade Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 i'll be, i can't ski Sking is optional. I went a few years back and climbed Cutthroat - left my skis in Seattle. Good times... Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 Why not both? Switching between ski boots and rock shoes is core. Quote
Nick_B Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 Is this a dog friendly event? If so count me in, if anyone in Seattle needs a ride let me know! Quote
skykilo Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 Yeah but rock climbing in your ski gear is REALLY CORE. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 Would putting your crampons on your ski boots in this case be considered aid? Quote
slaphappy Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Does anyone else with a mountain sled have interest in hookin up and headin to Hart's Pass that weekend for some high markin, cheap beer swillin, and turns (of course) with either a splitboard (preferable) or bc skis? We'll get more and better vert than anyone else... I'll trailer both sleds from Seattle if that helps. Up towards Kangaroo is an option as well... Don't make me invite my sledneck bretheren over to crash your long hair hippy gathering... - Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Is this a dog friendly event? If so count me in, if anyone in Seattle needs a ride let me know! I don't think dogs are going to be a problem. I'am looking for a ride from Seattle. Should be able to leave anytime after noon on Friday. Quote
David_Parker Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Directions to the site on the Events Forum post. I would say if you can keep your dog under control as reasonably expected, no problem; I like dogs until I step in their shit! Quote
