We are talking about a choice in which you are forced to give up something to get something else. The Earthquake/Hurricane analogy works because except for New England, any place you live in the US has either eartquakes or hurricanes. Not sure if any location really has both (California has seen hurricane, but not since 1938). Quote

The interesting thing about private/public schools is how people make the choice. Some people see socialization as very important, while others don't. Quote
