thin_air_aaron
We've all read crazy mountain survival stories but was curious what some of your guy's favorite books are that get you pumped up. I'm working through Twight's Kiss or Kill right now and although I can't say that I can relate to his level of intensity... reading about his attitude climbing and the suffering involved gets my ice ax stiff. knotzen
The book that got me interested in climbing, almost 20 years ago, was "Annapurna," by Maurice Herzog. I have no idea why, but my Dad had a copy on the bookshelf, and I picked it up and read it. After that, I read every book about climbing I could find. (And started climbing.) Miss_Piggy
11 years ago I read "K2.Triumph and Tragedy" by Jimm Curran. When I finshed it I knew that I will be climbing...and I am. Now I am reading "Climbing Free:My Life in Vertical World" by Lynn Hill and this book gets me going
