I usually make a batch of pyrohy once a year - about 100 or so. I freeze them and haul them out from time to time for comfort food - fry them and sprinkly bacon bits and add sour cream, salt and paper. Mmmm.

any good ideas? i now have a stove and pots and shit.

i went to fred meyer and gots me a chicken, cheese, tomato, basil, n' some torts and made me a quesadilla for dinner the past 5 nights.

so besides that and frozen shit from Trader Joes, i mostly forgot what i eat....so post some ideas thats cheap, quick, and good eatin'. no bland hippy shit please. burrito ideas? what to do with that "oven" thing below my frying pan? ideas needed!

slice onion and red pepper. Saute in olive or canola oil to taste.

on the side saute italian sausage. Serve on a hard or soft roll (to taste) with the onions and pepper, season with mustard and crack open a beer.

alternatively, for the brats, you can heat up sauerkraut (cook 5-12 minutes covered) instead.

on the side, either fry potatoes, or buy baked beans, cole slaw, or potato salad.

Layton you fucking stooge. No wonder you can't get laid, you don't even know how to cook! In case you didn't get the hint, inviting the ladies over for Annies mac and cheese isn't a gourmet, romantic meal. I dook on your culinary gaperdom.

This one is a good one for dreary winter days. You need a cast iron frypan

Open a beer.

Butter in frying pan, heat on to 7 or 8.

Slice 1/2 a red cabbage into chunks. Stirfry in butter, 2 minutes.

Slice about 6" to 8" of a nice horsecock into medallions or cubes and add to cabbage. Stirfry 2 minutes more.

Chop some garlic and toss it in, stirfry one minute more.

By now you should have about 1/4 of your beer left... pour that in.

Turn heat down to 2 or 3, put plate ontop of frypan as lid, simmer 20 minutes.

Turn heat off, remove lid, add mustard, eat with bread and more beer. Yum cheeburga_ron.gif

I usually eat a 5 course meal spead out over 5 days.

day 1: serveral cans of green beens or corn

day 2: bowls of rice and soy sauce

day 3: a bunch of salad

day 4: several pounds of meat

day 5: a few packets of ramen

or

make some sort of ghetto entre and eat that for dinner until it gets lamer and lamer as individual ingredients run out.

or

do the lonely puppy eyes when someone is eating or talking about dinner and get free food (happens multiple times a week, i have food serindipity).

Assorted dismembered chicken parts

Canna creema mushroom soup

Cuppa sherry

Cuppa sour cream

Canna mushrooms plus some real mushrooms

Stir all the wet stuff together; dump on top of the dismembered chicken parts (in a shallow pan, natch) & bake at 350 for an hour and a half or thereabouts. Serve with rice. If you ditch the empty cans you can deceive your honey that you actually know how to cook.
