specialed Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Au Contraire. "Varmint Killin and Swimmin in the River, 5.12 AI7 A5+" is the name of my new Extreme Alpine Testpiece. Its a high altitude testpiece, with runouts and rockfall hazards, scary bergschrunds and heinous rock quality. GU eating Experts only. Quote
Dru Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 i climbed some "alpine 10+" and got home at half past midnight and fell asleep halfway through drinking a beer Quote
selkirk Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Friday night: Called the climb on saturday for crappy weather (Lib Bell/Concorde) Later found out it rained all morning and feld a little better  Sat: Generaly around the house pointless ness  Sun: My first trip to the Pearly Gates and boy did my head space suck!!!! Managed to thrutch up the first pitch of Cloud Nine and managed to die on Lost Souls. Though had an interesting moment when I lost my footing and had to lower myself on a hand jam, felt this little pop in my right hand and it suddenly went numb in about a 3 or 4 square inch area for 10 or 15 min. After that followed some nice 5.8ish stuff. Not sure what was up with the headspace, but was just really twitchy all day for some reason. Great area though! Quote
archenemy Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I ran over a rattlesnake with my mountain bike. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I commanded cobras but did not run over any of them. Quote
archenemy Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 You can't even command your own from what I've heard... Quote
TrogdortheBurninator Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 Met some friendly people, listened to blood curdling screams, and observed numerous shenanigans (while partaking breifly in our own rappeling fun) at WA-Pass while enjoying some nice easy climbing. Weather and views were perfect on account of the previous days rain followed by the complete absence of clouds. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 You can't even command your own from what I've heard... Â Hmmm who told you this? It's difficult to command one's cobra when one's cobra is not inspired. Quote
I bet your jockstrap consists of a peanut shell and rubberband. Quote
