catbirdseat
Last night I dreamt I was out in the desert climbing with a group of friends. It might have been Joshua Tree. We were just chatting when off to my left I see this mushroom cloud go up way over the horizon to the west. Then to the north, several more go up. San Diego, Pendelton, Los Angeles, Vandenberg- basically every major coastal city or military base. It's armageddon, out of the clear blue sky. What now? Our homes are probably already incinerated. This is the end. There is nowhere to go. In a few hours the fallout will begin and we'll die of radiation sickness. What do we do now? In the end, we decided to go climbing. sweatinoutliquor
Probably the right descision. Though if you were in JT you should go to Mexico. Everyone likes Mexico. Probably wouldn't get nuked there for a bit.
iain
I would head for los alamos and bang on the dungeon doors there.
Dechristo
In the end, we decided to go climbing. While cbs is lying on the shrink's couch, he hears the question, "Is there anything that gives you more life than climbing?"
bunglehead
Yikes! I hate "Nuclear Holocaust" nightmares. I used to have them all the time when Reagan was in office. Maybe it's because of his "We begin bombing in five minutes." comment. Good idea, though. Climb! What the fuck else is there to do? I'd throw in gettin some booty! Wasn't "The Hills Have Eyes" filmed in J-Tree? That's a mutant-filled doomsday nightmare if there ever was one!

Ducknut
Those mushroom clouds were the MJ trial photographers flashbulbs after they heard the jury. There were 2,200 reporters and photographers covering the trial. I am beginning to think that California hosts these big celebrity trials just to run their economy. They all have the same outcome, jury circus, incompetent cops, screwed up forensic materials, high profile lawyers, yada yada yada

Where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!!! You thought it was a joke and so you laughed, you laughed when I had said that loosing you would make me flip my lid.. RIGHT??? I know you laughed, I heard you laugh, you laughed you laughed and laughed and then you left, but now you know I'm utterly mad... And.. They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa, They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa. To the happy home. With trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!! I cooked your food, I cleaned your house, and this is how you pay me back for all my kind unselfish loving deeds.. Huh?? Well you just wait, they'll find you yet and when they do they'll put you in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt!!! And... They're coming to take me away, ha-haaa. They're coming to take me away, ho-ho, hee-hee, ha-haaa. To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time and I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and they're coming to take me away, ha-haaa!!!
