iain
that one dude in the red in the middle looks like he has some mutant head growing out of his left arm.
iain
I'm also a little concerned about the other guy in red who does not have a helmet on while he engages in idle chit-chat with the mutant guy

Squid
I hadn't noticed until now that the woman in blue was aiding "Pipeline & No Parking." That line has gone free since '82.

klenke
I really wanna know where this pic was taken I think (am pretty sure) that's the Mountie Building on Lower Queen Anne. There is an open lot on the north side of the building and that looks like it. This jives with the title of the jpeg image ("North Wall"). AlpineK
Yeah, I'm sure it is. I know they were building an aid climbing practice wall at the club house. Yes Mike I did watch the video...kids do the craziest things.
tomtom
I'm famous! That's the north wall of the Mountaineers building in lower Queen Anne. The class is for beginning aid climbing. I'm on the wall in the center with the light brown fleece. Later we practice hauling systems and rappelling with haul bags. The wall is also used to practice using portaledges and vertical camping. Inside, there are ropes set up for jugging, passing a knot on ascent and descent, lower-outs, and Tyrolean traverses. You too can register for the next class starting in the spring. After taking this class in the spring, I climbed Liberty Crack in the summer (Hi Alpinfox!) and Lost Arrow Spire and the Prow in Yosemite. Good times.
