You are probably right. My brother's grandmother's siter's cousin said there was a 5.8 there.

I've been a ways up the SC trail and I've seen a lot of granite up in there to the south and east of Three Fingers. You can see it from the Summit of the latter also.

Kind of up and left as you are going in...

This picture makes me think that the headwaters of Squire Creek is just one big granite bowl.

you might actualy want to try those faces jordan, before you spray about how solid they are. and maybe climb a gravel pit too so you have some adequate comparison material.

"Back to the topic, isnt the East Face of East McMillan Spire still unclimbed?"

I think you mean the NE face. I climbed the S face / E ridge about a month ago, and there wasn't any real E face, just an E ridge. However, it does look like there is a large section of face (NE facing) just to climber's left of the N buttress.

However, I wouldn't be suprised if the N buttress has never seen a second ascent, so it'd probably be just as much of an adventure.

Yeah sure, you are welcome to think so... and you can see from the photo that the rock is choss

I may find where you live, break into your house, and steal your mtn porn photo, and scoop your routes...naming them names that insult you and your family. Watch out!

I will name the routes I do this weekend "Mike Loserton is a Wimp" and also put up a 5.4 route and call it "Layton 10b".

Damn Dru that's right on, N. Face of Tusk on left, taken from Tiger Glacier on Clem.

I can identify many peaks of North America from a photo. Exceptions are unnamed peaks north of Bella Coola, the Omineca Mts., USA SW mtns like the Organ Pipes, and the Northern Selkirks. [Roll Eyes] At least I have 1 marketable skill [laf][sNAFFLEHOUND]
