sobo Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Why do tornadoes always touch down in trailer parks? Â Why do school buses always stall out on railroad tracks? Quote

murraysovereign Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Why do tornadoes always touch down in trailer parks? Â There's recently been some research done on this. They started out thinking there's something about the trailers themselves that attracts tornados, but it turns out it's actually the bowling trophies in the window that does it. Quote
bunglehead Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 How does that work? The only thing they're good at attracts disaster? Quote
Dru Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 trailer parks are built on land which is zoned as being "unsuitable for permanent habitation". the loophole is that a trailer is "mobile" and hence not a "permanent habitation". it's thanks to this they are usually in the paths of huge landslides, flooding, tornadoes, swarms of locusts, migrating lemmings and/or meteor impacts. snoboy Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 So you are implying that they are able to zone according to likleyhood of meteor impact??? Wow. Quote
bunglehead Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Hey wait a minute... how can they predict meteor impact sites, aside from getting some Jeff Goldblum types on it? Quote
EWolfe Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Attracted to vaccuums, and trailer parks suck? Quote
Dru Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Hey wait a minute... how can they predict meteor impact sites, aside from getting some Jeff Goldblum types on it? Â by looking at the distribution of past impact sites a pattern emerges. this is known as the empirical method Quote

HRoark Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Things that make me go "hmmm..." are those fucking boy bands. What the fuck is that all about? I mean, I 'm not even envious of the money - they have not talent and what talent they might have is used on material that isn't even theirs. Quote
Stonehead Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 A Thai man was mauled when he drunkenly tried to sexually attack a dog that fiercely resisted his advances. Â Police in Samut Prakan province, on Bangkok's south-eastern fringes, told the Thai Rath newspaper that Toryip Rawang, 33, had been drinking heavily with friends before Monday's incident. The bloodied man was questioned by police after residents notified local authorities when they saw him walking along a road. Â He told police he noticed a brown female stray dog wagging its tail and "acting sexy" and pulled it into some tall grass by the roadside. Â But the dog resisted, biting him on his face, chest and arms before he gave up his attempt and tried to stagger home. Â Under further questioning he admitted to raping three dogs previously while he was under the influence of alcohol. Â He told police he always became aroused when he drank heavily but did not have enough money to pay a prostitute. Â Police said the man was given a rabies shot and was not charged with a crime, but he had fled his home in an apparent effort to avoid public ridicule. Quote
