Gordonb Posted November 29, 2003 Posted November 29, 2003 It definitly rocked on T-day. Some of the best crusing in a long time. Â BTW Timmy what's the deal with not counting all the rides on the bachy web site? We are missing several. Â Quote
gapertimmy Posted November 29, 2003 Author Posted November 29, 2003 errr uhhhh, sometimes skidata doesn't work quite right. as in certain readers ain't be talking to the database and stuff. Quote
Gordonb Posted November 29, 2003 Posted November 29, 2003 So if we know the right readers we won't get charged on the express pass? Â That info might be worth somthing. Quote
ridehikeclimbski Posted November 29, 2003 Posted November 29, 2003 Thought it was called Mt. Flatchelor ....for Oregon I rather spend my $ at Willamette Pass on a great cold, knee deep powder day.....try the skiing/boarding the trees next to RTS , thats STEEP, DEEP and NARROW ! holy Quote
Fejas Posted November 29, 2003 Posted November 29, 2003 SFA huh? How bout dragons back, and hop scotch rock? ya ever jib the home made rails down the XC trail that goes towards the cabin. Â Â Bachy rocks dood!!! Quote
steepconcrete Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Talking about Will. Ass, you gotta mention the White Russians, witch are the trees between RTS and Success, or skin up the west peak. My fave part of SDN is straight off the backside lift. Also gotta love Gravity Chute straight off the top of Dragons Back  cool pic of the backside attached... Quote
Doug Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Had my first drink of Mt. Bachelor this weekend. We spent T-Giving w/my sister in law, who lives in Bend and is on the Ski Patrol there. It was great until the rains came. . Great terrain, and close to a cool little town, I hope you gapers in Bend realize how good you have it! Quote
EWolfe Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Bachy really rocks for boarders. It can be a little flat for Extremo Mtn Dude Skiers! LOL! Rip IT UP, Dude! Quote
E-rock Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Â Bwahahahah, THAT's the terrain you guys brag about down there in homo-Oregon. Â ....Sorry, I feel like I just picked on someone with a disability or something. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 e-rock, i knew i could count on you for setting these fools straight. Quote
steepconcrete Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 ^^^^Bwa Haaa, that is funny...and so sad indeed, you echo what I keep telling my friends who still ride there^^^^ Â resort skiing here is a joke. but skiing in general is fun. Â But who am I too talk any shit... I mess around these woods (attached)...I have not skied 3 fingered jack yet...but look at all the possibilities. Â edit--the ski hill, Hoodoo, is in the top left....its raddness is fully apparent. Quote
ridehikeclimbski Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 Nice shot of 3FJ !! I do agree resort skiing is lame and a joke but for a local hill with a high speed lift, the Pass is fun. The tree run I was talking about isnt shown in the pic. Â BTW I hardly ski the resorts in Oregon, I prefer to go to JH or Blackcomb for endless possiblities in and out of bounds. People in Bend are lucky to have a nice higher elevation ski area close by, have a relative that resides there whos retired and skis there weekly. Â The Hole is having a banner month for snow , first time in ages almost 100% of the mtn will be open on opening day this Sat. Thinking of heading over there for Xmas and New Years if the snow keeps falling . Quote
steepconcrete Posted November 30, 2003 Posted November 30, 2003 ahhh... before all the fast lifts. Back when Outback was a double. Quote
