Heading to Denver to plan our wedding for four days, introduce our moms to each other, and hoping to get a day in at the Flatirons if the weather cooperates.

El Gran Trono Blanco if I can find a partner...

Cochise Stronghold anyone?

Or it's "Hullo Yosamight!"

Wyoming sometime too.

BG-Tuolomne is probably great in August. When I was there (July?) it was a little more chilly at night and in the morning than Yosemite was, but was great during the day.

Like the others said it's great in August. Is usually hotter in the days and nights. But since it is at 9000 ft. the nights are chilly most of the time. I was there in late July last summer and it was perfect. Not to hot during the day and not too cold at night. In late Sep/Oct. it was pretty cold in the shade to climb, and the nights were very chilly.

Since this was a thread on spring roadtrips, I assumed you were going then. The road usually opens in mid-late May and there's still snow on most of the domes then. But I know people who had nice snow approaches to the alpine climbs like Cathedral Peak last summer.
