    What the F@#$@#$

I think, given her lineage, she would by necessity be from the KGB...

  7. Damn, he's quick... Heyyyyyyyy, you changed your avatar pic. Where's Olga's yummy little tummy??
  8. acetone I'm not a girlie, either, but I've known that acetone = nail polish remover since I was, like, 12. What are they teaching kids in school these days, anyway? More to the point, acetone is the primary (and typically the only) ingredient in nail polish remover. The other ingredients are typically pigments for color and scents to cover the pungency of straight acetone. "Wiki" it... Just don't try to carry it in your nalgene bottle...
  9. I'll have the one in the pink top. She has a tummy like Olga's... which reminds me, where is TreeToad these days, anyway...?
  10. CP say: Walgreen's, K-Mart, Target, Rite Aid; the list goes on. It's nail polish remover, fer chrissakes. slaphappy sez: Works swimmingly on dried nail polish, which is a laquer (a paint) and also quite similar to automotive paints/finishes.
  11. The scene: Arriving at a crag parking lot/base of a route/a bar... The conversation: Me: "Hi, I'm sobo." Them: "Oh, so you're that stoopid motherfucker." Me: "E-yup!" My reputation precedes me.
  12. Went back to Lightning Dome again, but this time with pre-arranged partnership!! Met wazzumountaineer and NYC007 down there Friday night, and climbed a new line with them on Saturday after upper Cretin's Corner proved to be too wet for Kurt to run it out through the pro-less stretch to the fixed pin. So we detoured left on Black Pine Variation to the top of Cretin's Corner, and 3rd classed it to the ledge that houses my old (unfinished) project next to Y Chimney. Kurt spied a line that looked possible on the far left of this ledge, and we geared up for it. I didn't do any of the heavy lifting for the FA, but I was there to supply the necessary bolt kit and shout encouragement, and serve as belay bitch. Three brand new pitches later, we were standing on top of the Dome. The UberDuo called it hard 5.9, with lots of cleaning required. A single bolt was placed on lead with a hand drill early on the second pitch to link a traverse from a crack system to a lieback arch, and a knifeblade was placed near the top of the same pitch, also on lead, as well as all the wire brushing and gardening, true to the established area ethic. They're still thinking of a name for it. On Sunday, the WunderKinder did another new line through a roof at the Road Warrior area, and we watched as pup on the mountain and his partner got waaaaaaaaaaay off-route on Sticky Fingers and verified that the "possible traverse" over to upper Brown Sugar does in fact go. We can fix that little inaccuracy in the guidesheet now... Then we did some vertical bolted slab at the roadside upstream, and repeated a forgotten roof further up the road. Then we all shuffled back downstream and did Midnight Fright and the first pitch of Fat Albert to call it a weekend. I got a TR from Kurt so I could prove to myself that this fat old geezer could still do Fats Waller, a steep 5.10 slab, even if I can't see my toes when I stand up! I had a great weekend with these two. They and can climb some pretty hard shit while still being hungover. Ahhh, youth... Und ve all hat a gut time und it vas uber fun, ya! Acknowledged!
  13. I think he might show up after he's over the shits. Typhoid fever is a bitch, man... linky
  14. Went to the SF of the Clearwater without a partner and hung around Lightning Dome all weekend. Bumped into wazzumountaineer (kurt_hicks) and friend when they came off Sunday afternoon and hung around with them for a couple hours or so looking at rocks. Going back this weekend, hopefully with a partner this time.
  15. ...and a shitpot more off SR 410 and US 12 on the east side of the crest. The sooner the NW Fucking-us Pass is kaput, the better! philfort: I may be wrong, but IIRC, Rep. Ralph Regula (R-OH) got it hitched onto the 2005 Omnibus Appropriations Bill as a rider at the last minute in late 2004. The bill was needed to keep the government operating (and the Iraq War going, among other things ), and that smarmy little shit got it tacked it on as his "legacy" to us all. Bastard doesn't even HAVE any public lands in his district! The name was changed to the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA), but it essentially is the same old shitpile as Fee Demo. It's 4:20, I gotta go now...
  16. Edvard Grieg: 2nd movement from Peer Gynt, Suite #1, op. 46, absolutely haunting Tomaso Albinoni: Adagio in G minor for strings & organ, quietly spiritual (in case you hadn't noticed, I like my classical in minor keys) Joaquin Rodrigo: anything he wrote that's played by John Williams (it's Spanish Guitar music, if you're not familiar with him)
  17. Minx, I wouldn't climb with him if I were you, he sounds like a fucking pervert. No, SS, just a pervert. I keep it in my pants when the little ones are around, unlike Michael J...
  18. I read the whole thing and agree with CBS.
  19. Really??? I can't help but be touched. You gonna be in the Selkirks anytime soon? Or are you just chumming?
  20. see sobo - you are better than me humble No one is more betterer or less betterer than anyone else. We're all just differenter.
  21. I accept, and win. No one is a shittier climber than I!
