  1. The late crowd ended up at the Big Time Brewery. I don’t think I’m welcome there after I offended one of the bartenders by making fun of The String Cheese Incident. Fucking hippie bullshit music. [ 10-23-2002, 07:24 AM: Message edited by: AlpineK ]
  2. I'm inclined to go with MattP and go for Schultzy's.
  3. Tomorrow is Tuesday and you all know what that means. So where do you want to go?

  5. I liked your old picture of Frank. Too bad you feel you have to back down because of some uptight prudes. Hey prudes.
  6. Yep the rope up was pretty dam fun. Lots of climbing, beer, energy drinks, smoke, and fried chicken! Oh yeah a bunch of fun people too! The only bummer was Scot'corplogo hid from me/us. I know you'll read this Scotty. Your going to have to hang out with me one of these days. I won't mess with you too much.

There's only two things that come from Texas (and Oklahoma) steers and queers, and I don't see no horns on ya.
  10. quote: Originally posted by mattp: Yes, an enjoyable evening was had by all. But I gotta point out that by 10:30 there were only four people left. When we have an event in Seattle, the second wave is just starting to get warmed up by that time. You folks on the Eastside just don't know how to drink beer. You better show up at rope up for some lessons. Yeah I gotta say that bed time comes early out in the burbs. Dam last pub club in Seattle there were still 5 of us at 1 AM, and 009 kept the party going till 3 AM. The only down side was I had to call him to tell him he was late for work and deal with his sorry drunk ass all Wednesday.
  11. That's some bad shit Stephen. I hope you get better soon!

    ATTENTION

Italy had centuries of war and violence, but the country produced lots of great art. Switzerland had centuries of peace and what are they known for? Swiss cheese, clocks, etc.
  15. I don't have any recent beta, but I have climbed the mountain this time of year. It's a great time to do one of the popular routes. Let us know if you have to trail break through new snow. Freshiezz!!
  16. I think it's clear now why Karen dosen't have a partner.

  20. I'm not sure anyone trash talked me on this thread. It was nice to see you at the store in the ditch Coondog. Too bad I was wrecked and couldn't talk coherently.
  21. I think the Law Goddess lacks some basic social skills. I mean if you show up for a party when it's scheduled to start chances are there won't be many people there. Maybe Pub Club is too cool for her.
  22. I'm not sure you need a new section for ski mountaineering. Some quick links to weather/avalanche info might be cool. Mike Adamson has a good link page to this kind of info.
  23. How about the Owl and Thistle. Downtown under 99 (or near)
  24. quote: Originally posted by salbrecher: I think i'll go climbing with that money instead of spending it on a "climbing tour" Good luck finding clients, but I think all you will find here is spray. If your guiding you might want to make up your mind whether Mt. Cook is in New Zealand or Australia. [ 10-07-2002, 07:29 AM: Message edited by: AlpineK ]
  25. Back a while ago crazyjz and I talked about bringing a gun, for bears, on a climb up north. We didn't end up bringing one, but if I remember right bringing a gun to Canada is a little complicated. You can do it, but make sure you check if the gun you want to buy is ok in Canada before you buy it. Some types of shotgun/riffle are banned.
