The Bush administration is only interested in keeping short term costs to campaign contributors low. They don't care if 10 years down the road someone has to spend billions to fix a problem that would have cost millions to fix at the start. We've only seen the tip of the iceburg when it comes to invasive species.

I'm a little burned out on on King Krimson. Don't get me wrong I've got all their albums (records that is) I don't have any Fred Frith or Hawkwind, but I know their good. Gong and Steve Hillage too. I've got a Van Der Graaf Generator album, and a bunch of Roxy Music too.

I used to listen to that all the time in high school. ELP, and Floyd too. Obscured by Clouds is a pretty good Floyd album. Now-a-days I don't want to diss on that stuff, cause I used to love it, but I never listen to it anymore. Brian Eno has the only 70s music I still listen to.

So let me get this straight. JD posts 23 silly statements about liberals; then Catbird posts 23 silly statements about conservatives; then GW gets mad and wants to hit Catbird with a bunch of batteries in a sock. I'd understand GW's feelings if Catbird did something really obnoxious and posted 24 statements about conservatives. That would be totally uncalled for.

The fires up in that neck of the woods are under control, and they don't have a bc ban in effect there. Mike at White Saddle is working 6 hrs a day on the fires though.

I'm a good old boy cause I'm obnoxious and proud of it(and my fleet of chain saws help too ); not cause I'm GW's lap dog.

And I haven't heard any conservative coherently explain: why we went to war in Iraq, Where the WMD are, and how tax cuts to the rich are helping the economy.
